Defiantly more toward the "rogue-lite" than "rogue-like" but an amazingly fun game
I'm no Bastard you ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
I came back to this game and was greeted by some cool add-on content. Still just as fun as the first time, recommended for people that like skillful roguelikes.

Fun game. Great for a casual pick up and play on normal or lower difficulty. Ranks up the difficulty on the 2 high ones. Where you have to manage resources and strategically move across the map to gather equipment needed by the main vessle. My criticism is the shooting and hitbox detection is a bit janky and anything that explodes is practically a nuke to your health. The RNG is rather harsh on the player, If you like cheeky kind of storytelling like Boarderlands 2 or looking for a casual rouge style running game. It's worth a pick up on sale.
Fast-paced action with a good sense of humor. Perfect length that doesn't overstay it's welcome.
Fun but repetitive. I don't know if its worth the current list price of $30... maybe wait until its on sale. But its a finished game at least, funny and has some cool mechanics.

Excellent fun game.
loot goblin sim with a quirk system and heavy bullet conservation hell yeah also the stanley parable narrator is here so there's that
I finished the game twice. It is good. I would even say there was nothing wrong with it at all and the only crititque I have, is that it wasn't enough. I would have liked the game to be bigger. What it is about is simply that you play a roguelite FPS survival-shooter. At the start you get a random prisoner from the prison ship that is your homebase. They only vary in a few starting traits, but that is neither too little nor too much variation between player characters. You then set out to fly through space and have the option to dock with ships you come across. On the ships you find materials for items, food, fuel, ammo and enemies. The goal is to find certain parts to craft story-relevant items. Along the way you also unlock other items that make the game easier for you, as they provide buffs, make you immune to debuffs or are simply new weapons. If one of your characters dies, he loses all the ammo, fuel and food he collected, but all the unlocked items and parts you found are saved and can be used by the next guy. You repeat that several times until you finish the campaign.
