Горячая женщина бежит за мной! ПОМОГИТЕ! (Неплохой выбор игры на Масленицу) The hot woman is chasing me! HELP! (nice game to play on Maslenitsa)
"I love you. Why, you set my soul on fire. It is not just a little spark. It is a flame. A big, roaring flame. I can feel it now..." My favorite Vladimere (I only know one,) strikes again with a bonerfide little entry. Fuel the fire, embrace her love. 30 minutes brimming with style, a slowly expanding map, which gets more chaotic due time. The first encounter with the chaser is subtle and very well made. Shes behind me right now, isnt she? I still havent figured out how to avoid her burning state, shes always faster, but I beat the game anyway, as it saves every little progress. Women in heat are no joke! Horror/Surrealist centered Curator: KuriKuration
It's a 20–30 minute game in which you collect wood to put on the fire without getting caught by her. It's not really scary; there are no loud sounds (jumpscares), and the only things that'll scare you is the limited draw distance and the noise she makes while following you. The goal is to confront the sins of your past. The story is cryptic and never reveals what the main character has done, but you can kind of guess by making up your own thoughts. I'll stop here because it's short and doesn't outstay its welcome. Anything longer would have been a miss since it doesn't offer much variety in terms of gameplay. I love these short little horror experiences, that are made with effort and passion. Made me think of Squirrel Stapler in that regard
Every game that Vlad has made I love, and this is no exception
Honestly, it is VERY short, but in this case it's a perfect little horror game that doesn't overstay its welcome and leaves you wanting just a little bit more. You collect wood from the surrounding forest to build up a fire, and in doing so, have to face the sins of your past. It's cryptic, and never truly goes into what the MC has done, but you can kind guess... "James, did you Sunderland your wife?" I wish I could take credit for that line :( Well worth the full price for a fun, and creepy, bit of bonfire building.
Short little horror experience (took me about 30 mins). The gameplay loop is gathering wood for a fire and avoiding the monster. The monster uses a weeping angel style mechanic and is pretty unsettling and creepy. Bits of story elements are revealed as you gather more wood. check out my playthru here: https://youtu.be/XEDgkkKH0Qk
This one hurt a little, but sometimes pain is good. I enjoyed it.
short, fun, exactly the kind of thing i expect from those associated with the haunted ps1 project! thanks for putting in an effigy off mode, i really needed it
The atmosphere is immaculate. The effigy creates a tension that makes this thirty minute game feel genuinely unnerving from beginning to end. The story, delivered through screen-filling messages between runs to the fire, hints at a history of love, betrayal, and pain before descending somewhere darker. It earns its ending. The only friction is a sprint mechanic the game never tells you exists. I found it halfway through, this didn't break the experience, but a small hint early on would go a long way. If atmospheric or retro horror is anywhere in your wheelhouse, this is worth every penny of its asking price. One of the more memorable thirty minutes I've spent in a game recently. Wrote a free longer piece on this one if you want more detail before buying https://overlooked.gg/#reviews
