In Viscera Cleanup Detail, you step into the boots of a space-station janitor tasked with cleaning up after various horrific sci-fi horror events. Instead of machineguns and plasma-rifles, your tools are a mop and bucket. That hero left a mess, and it's up to you to deal with the aftermath.

Can become a walking back and forth simulator at times, but it's not too bad 99% of the time. Multiplayer can be a bit buggy, as in objects don't sync right, but that may have been a wi-fi issue on my/our end.
MORE OF A NEUTRAL RECOMMEND: Playing this game solo is like playing the most mind-numbing, rage-inducing cleaning simulator. This is the type of shi* that will have you stress eating. If you have friends, it's chill. It's a nice cleaning game with fun horror backdrops and cute references sprinkled throughout the whole game. Dev really likes Dead Space which like, game recognize game <3 I could love it just for that, but no actually, because it really is just that stressful when playing solo. Play it if you're that much of a masochist.
my friend managed to make a dark fountain while we were playing

It is a bit confusing at first on how all the stuff works, especially reports, but after looking up a guide and after some time I got the hang of it. And of course, I like blood.
I don't usually enjoy clean up games, but this was a gift so i gave it a try. I didn't really enjoy it the first time I played, but I tried again on stream today. I was having fun, it was a good background game while I talked to people I was making slow but good progress and I was proud of my work. There were a few spots out of bounds I couldn't reach, but I had cleaned up all the blood and destroyed all of the objects. It was spotless. I even double checked with the sniffer. But when I completed the mission i got a 70% I'm a blacksmith and earlier today my thumb slipped into the metal grinder and I got a small injury on my thumb, getting a 70% on a mission I spent nearly 4 hours on hurt me more than that injury did. I'm genuinely not sure what I could have done better. I love the premise and the twist on the clean up formula, I could see this being a good game for someone who likes this genre, but getting 70% after nearly 4 hours on a level that I tried my hardest sucked. I can't see myself returning to this game anytime soon.
First thoughts on the game, this is awful. There's zero guidance, just a bare bones menu that lets you select from a seemingly random list of missions, and they decided to not make a tutorial for some insane reason. Zero clue where to put trash or how to clean your mop. What was the idea here? How would anyone have found these things out? Also if you don't give the game accessibility permissions the mouse is hardcore broken, and the game refuses to be full screen. Very annoying experience so far. The only positives are that there seems to be a good amount of locations and the environments are cool. Edit: Oh my god... you have to pick up things one by one. That is so unbelievably stupid lol. Every other cleanup game is lightyears ahead of this mess
It's odd how cleaning guts from the walls and floors can be pretty chill and entertaining. Items not being explained well is definitely annoying but not entirely necessary to play. Overall pretty good for anyone interested in cleaning games in space.
This game is fun, and benefits from having friends, but you might just prefer being by yourself otherwise a friend around you might make a bigger mess than the one you began with. Each match is around 1-2 hours long on average, and I find it really relaxing. Reminds me of when I was a maid and met a bunch of crime scene cleaners. To that end, I think my only complaint is that there isn't a bunch of poo everywhere. Yeah, for some reason, crime scene cleaners have to deal with a LOT of human doodoo.
Si te gustan las tripa y limpia la mugre.
