I collected the achievements and went to eat a sandwich with tea
WOAW, such an incredible jingly physics, one of a kind for sure. Maybe too relastic when the booty is overlapping the clothes (of you know what I mean)... ABSOLUTELY not a scam for 200€, you will have at minmum 10min of pure pleasure. Recommended.
I don’t know if it’s worth the money, but I’m into it.
Suitable for those who like to find objects in unusual places.

Virtual Girl Save Virtual Boy, developed and published by Hede, is a small indie exploration and collectible-hunting game that blends light platforming with hidden-object style gameplay. Like several other titles created by the same developer, the game focuses on navigating a compact 3D environment while searching for items scattered in unusual or hard-to-reach locations. Instead of presenting a narrative-heavy adventure or complex puzzle systems, the experience is built around simple traversal mechanics and exploration. Players take control of a female character whose goal is to locate objects hidden throughout the map while climbing structures, jumping across platforms, and carefully navigating elevated areas. The gameplay revolves around exploration and item collection. Players move through the environment using standard keyboard and mouse controls, guiding the character across various surfaces while scanning the surroundings for objects that must be collected. These items are placed throughout the level in locations that often require players to climb walls, reach rooftops, or carefully maneuver across narrow ledges. Unlike traditional hidden-object games that rely on static scenes where players click on objects they notice, Virtual Girl Save Virtual Boy turns the idea into a physical challenge where players must actually reach the item through movement and navigation. Traversal plays an important role in shaping the experience. The map is designed with verticality in mind, encouraging players to climb structures and search for pathways leading to elevated locations. Players frequently encounter platforms and surfaces that require careful jumping and positioning to reach. Because many of the objects are placed above ground level, players must constantly look for new routes and vantage points that will allow them to continue climbing higher. This structure transforms the game into a mixture of exploration and light platforming, where the challenge lies in figuring out how to reach specific areas rather than solving complex puzzles. The inclusion of fall damage introduces a small element of risk during exploration. If the player falls from a significant height, the character loses health, and repeated mistakes can eventually result in failure. This system encourages players to move carefully when climbing tall structures or navigating narrow ledges. While the game is not especially punishing, this mechanic adds a bit of tension to the climbing segments and prevents players from rushing recklessly through the environment. The design of the environment itself encourages curiosity and experimentation. Many objects are visible from a distance but positioned in places that are not immediately accessible. Players may spot an item on a rooftop or ledge and then need to search the surrounding area for a route that leads to it. Other items are hidden more cleverly, placed behind structures or in corners that require thorough exploration to discover. This layout rewards players who take the time to examine the environment carefully and experiment with different climbing paths. Visually, the game uses a simple 3D style that focuses more on functionality than graphical detail. The environments are constructed with basic textures and geometry, clearly outlining surfaces that can be climbed or used as pathways. While the graphics are modest compared to larger platforming games, the simplicity helps keep the environment easy to navigate. Platforms, ledges, and collectible objects stand out clearly, making it easier for players to focus on exploration and traversal rather than dealing with visual clutter. The sound design is minimal and unobtrusive. Ambient sounds accompany the player’s movement through the environment, while small sound effects signal successful item collection or character movement. The game does not rely heavily on dramatic music or cinematic audio, instead maintaining a quiet atmosphere that fits the relaxed nature of the gameplay. This understated soundscape allows players to concentrate on exploration without distraction. The game also includes a few additional features that provide small incentives for replayability. Achievements reward players for completing certain objectives or collecting all the hidden objects in the environment. Leaderboards allow players to compare their performance with others, encouraging them to explore more efficiently or attempt faster completion times. While these systems are fairly simple, they add a mild sense of progression beyond the basic objective of collecting items. One of the most noticeable strengths of Virtual Girl Save Virtual Boy is its accessibility. The controls are straightforward, and the gameplay mechanics can be understood almost immediately. Players do not need advanced platforming skills or complex puzzle-solving abilities to begin exploring the environment. Because of its simple objectives and relaxed pacing, the game works well as a casual experience that can be played in short sessions. However, the simplicity of the game also leads to certain limitations. The core gameplay loop—climbing structures and collecting hidden objects—remains largely unchanged throughout the experience. While this activity can be enjoyable at first, the lack of evolving mechanics or varied objectives may cause the gameplay to feel repetitive after extended play. Players looking for deeper systems, narrative development, or more challenging platforming may find the experience somewhat limited. The overall scale of the game is also relatively small. Virtual Girl Save Virtual Boy is designed as a compact indie project rather than a large adventure. The environment and number of collectibles are modest, which means the game can be completed in a fairly short amount of time. For some players this shorter length may actually be appealing, as it allows the game to function as a quick exploration challenge rather than requiring a major time investment. Despite these limitations, the game succeeds in delivering the type of experience it aims to provide. The act of climbing through the environment and discovering hidden objects can be satisfying, especially when players finally reach a location that initially seemed inaccessible. The combination of exploration, vertical movement, and collectible hunting creates a simple but engaging gameplay loop that rewards curiosity and persistence. Overall, Virtual Girl Save Virtual Boy is a modest indie exploration game that blends light platforming with scavenger-hunt style gameplay. Its accessible controls, relaxed pace, and focus on exploration make it a straightforward experience for players who enjoy searching environments for hidden collectibles. While it lacks the depth and variety of larger platforming or adventure games, it still offers a short and casual adventure centered on climbing, exploration, and discovery. Rating: 5/10
