Warning: Asset Flip!
Scream or Die - Virtual Circus is a Unity Asset flip, what Valve calls a "fake game". The "developer", Hede, took the Cursed Toys Pack Unity Store asset pack from the real developers, Serhat Yucekaya, slapped the models into a barebones mini-maze with a crappy skybox, and dumped the result onto Steam. This is a barely functional game, can be completed in minutes. All you do is walk to the door. If you see one of the Cursed Toys assets you just pres "F" and they get stuck in a wall so you can find the door. They're attempting to scam people into buying this, so they can get your money for someone else's work. Hede has shown a repeat pattern of unethically dumping other people's work onto Steam as a cheap, nasty cash grab. Here's some examples so you can see for yourself:

"Truck Truck" = Truck Physics Template developed by HitCode
"Street Football" = Street Football Game developed by noureddine naceur
"Ero Tennis" = Tennis Mobile - full game developed by Codeer Studio
"Ero Snooker" = Snooker 3D developed by Hammad Baig
"Bow & Crystal Tower Defense" = Archery Simple Demo - Complete Game Template developed by Easy Game Studio
"Snowboard" = Snowboard Game Starter Pack developed by Denis Lapiner
"Hidden Build Top-Down 3D" = Polygon Construction Low Poly 3D Art developed by Synty Studios
"Hidden Farm Top-Down 3D" = Farm Life developed by beffio
"Hidden World 10 Top-Down 3D" = Polygon Pirates Low Poly 3D asset pack developed by Synty Games
"Hidden Western Top-Down 3D" = Polygon Western - Low Poly 3D Art Pack developed by Synty Studios
"♞ The Tactics of War ♞" = Polygon Knights Low Poly 3D Art developed by Synty Studios
"Save and Survive" = Survival Engine developed by Indie Marc
"Old Retro Shooter" = Hellish Battle 2.5D Retro FPS developed by Tiny Slime Studio
"3D PUZZLE - Harbor" = Toon Harbor Pack developed by SICS Games
The products that result from asset flips aren't "real" games. They lack depth and content, because they're just simplistic copies of demos or tutorials. In this case, "Cursed Toys Pack" is just an asset pack with some creepy animated toys that the developer has abused by slapping onto a bare basic untextured mini-maze (literally less than 5 minutes gameplay), and doesn't have any merit as a proper, fully fledged PC game, so this copy+paste of it can't be recommended. Asset flips don't involve any professional game development. Sure, sometimes they may change a few cosmetic things, swap out different assets etc, but at heart it's functionally identical to the asset they're ripping off. Asset flips like this are harmful to the gaming industry and to Steam because they reduce the visibility that sincerely made indie games should have, and make it harder for gamers to find real games from genuine developers.
Warning: Review Manipulation!
This game features a number of fake positive reviews from accounts known to be in the business of review manipulation/paid reviews. They're all written in either Russian or broken English, appear almost immediately after the game launched on Steam, all have a direct Steam purchase of the game, and the accounts are used consistently to write fake reviews for asset flips and other cash grabs/scams. The "Positive" review score on this game should be disregarded due to this review manipulation. Don't reward this morally bankrupt, unethical behaviour from Hede.
Profile Features Limited! Valve have marked this game as "Profile Features Limited" at the time of this review. This is usually caused by poor sales figures and low community acceptance for the game (to date). Until this status changes, this game will not give you +1 to your Game Collector badge count, appear in profile achievements or any other Steam meta-accomplishments, nor can it be displayed in some profile showcases. If these factors are important to you, it may be worth holding off before buying this game.
"Scream or Die - Virtual Circus" has the completely insane price of $200 USD, which is incredibly suspicious, higher than AAA pricing for an asset flip shovelware scam game. Why would the "developer" put such a high price tag on an asset flip with no true value as a game? There's no direct proof for this, but it's entirely possible this game is priced this way for money laundering or other criminal purposes. Higher prices allow more money to move with fewer transactions. Valve have previously banned developers for running money laundering scams. While there's no direct evidence in this case, it's highly suspicious and gamers should be wary. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, and the questionable ethical nature of the developer and/or their associates (as outlined above), this is impossible to recommend.
Scream or Die - Virtual Circus

The Circus I’d Take The People I Hate To
Brace yourselves, because this is one rollercoaster of a wannabe “horror game” that you might not be eager to hop on. This developer (Hede) is known for making ♥♥♥♥♥♥ games so I never had high hopes when I hopped into this title. Luckily, I was ready for the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ I was about to encounter.
About This Game

Storyline
The so-called premise is simple: you're trapped in a maze with a weird looking animatronic, and your goal is to escape. Sounds thrilling, right? But here's the catch - the game doesn't really flesh out this concept. You're thrown into the maze as soon as the game starts, and that's about it. No backstory, no context, just a maze and some robotic pursuer. The entire game feels very lazily made.
Gameplay Mechanics
The gameplay hinges on a self-proclaimed unique mechanic: you scream (by pressing the 'F' key) to ward off the animatronic. Interesting idea, but it's barely a gameplay element. The scream has a cooldown, which could have added a strategic layer, but unfortunately, the game is so brief and undemanding that this feature feels pointless. Plus, the enemy AI is a letdown. The animatronic clips through walls and bizarrely bounce back when they reach you, reducing any sense of threat or challenge. It just exists for the sake of existing, it literally can’t trigger a game over sequence when it catches you. I have also made a game similar to this but I am sure it has way better mechanics and an actual gameplay loop.
Visuals and Audios
The game is a literal eyesore. The maze is excessively bright, feels like a literal flashbang, making it more of a torture than an immersive experience. As for the audio, it's a loop of the same music and one annoying dialogue, contributing to the overall monotony.
Pros
Nothing, I hate this game.
Cons

Extremely short gameplay, finished in under a minute.
No actual gameplay loop.
Absurdly overpriced for the content it offers. It’s literally 200 USD.
Ugly visuals with overly bright colors.
Repetitive and unengaging audio.
Extremely useless enemy AI with no real interaction.

Conclusion
To sum it up, Scream or Die - Virtual Circus is a letdown. The game's concept had somewhat of a potential, but it falls flat with its lack of depth, poor execution, and minimal content. The asking price is exorbitant, considering you can beat the game in less time than it takes to make a cup of coffee. It's a maze that leads nowhere, a horror experience that fails to scare, and a game that feels more like a half-baked experiment than a finished product. Sadly, this is one circus you might want to skip.
