Reviews
It perfectly exemplifies games as an art form, along with a superb orchestral soundtrack. It is something which you experience more than you play.
Weird and esoteric :3
Virginia is a narrative adventure game with a twist: it is able to tell a complex, emotionally realized story without a single word of dialogue. The presentation is unique for a game in this genre, with a constant (amazing) soundtrack playing as you experience the story's layers of exposition through several jumpcuts across the real and the surreal. If you are like me and enjoy things that keep you dreaming, instead of giving you an excuse to forget the thing after the credits end, then play it. It only needs a couple of hours of your time.
I'm mixed on this one. While it is an interesting (barely) walking sim the ending feels incomplete. I enjoyed the Twin Peaks atmosphere and the 2hr time requirement wasn't overlong so for that I recommend it but only if you have a coffee and feel like reading a book without words not if you are seeking an interactive story but an immersive one.
it's weird and strange in a good way. its's absolutely confusing in a bad way. i hope devs learn from this experience and create better games in the future, they totally have potential. here one just cannot grasp what's going on. through the entire game
