About
Vindefiant is a pixel-art adventure game where players take on the role of Alyx, a corprate employee who unexpectedly grows supernatural powers. Disgruntled having been fired from his job, Alyx unleashes his powers and sparks a path of rage and destruction to get revenge on his former employer. Anyone who happens to cross his path will meet a gruesome end. In Vindefiant, you are the bad guy.

In your journey for vengeance, you will need to traverse through various environments, including an office building, streets, and sewers. Use your villainous powers to quickly cause havoc. Your tendrils can be used to grab objects to hurtle towards enemies, throw enemies through windows, into ventilation fans, smash open doors, tear apart turrets, and much more.

As you explore your powers you'll unlock new abilities, giving you greater options to create as much destruction and death as possible. Alyx is determined to get his revenge for losing his job, and you choose exactly how he’ll get there. But at what cost?

A narrative driven, single player experience following a journey of chaos, twists and a protagonist willing to unleash evil to get what he wants.
A unique set of platforming controls, with the ability to glide across almost any wall or ceiling to unleash your rage on the world.
Alyx uses a tendril to latch onto enemies, desk chairs, traffic lights, sewer pipes, doors and countless other objects. Enjoy creative freedom as you find new ways to kill every time you play.
A plot of revenge that spans 9 chapters and leads players across different environments, ranging from a city at sunset to a dark, winding sewer.
Over 80 collectibles to be found as you traverse through chaos.

Such a fun and challenging game! I've had an absolute blast playing it, the visuals are amazing, the music is phenomenal! The end boss fight, i found, was way more difficult compared to the rest of the game but other than that, a nicely balanced game! Been following Blakey way before this game was even a concept and i am proud of the progress they have made, can't wait to see more! Highly recommend 9/10!
SO COOL! I really love this idea and the story. Only suggestions i have is optimization of controls via controller. i found my self having to use my mouse a time or two , to do specific things i could not do via keyboard like the... uhh.. thing that goes out and grabs stuffsss... lol but other than that solid 7/10
World's Edgiest Ex-employee disintegrates at the thought of a paper cut.
GÓWNO
With a story as gripping as our tragic hero's demonic tentacles, Vendefiant is certainly one of 2025's hidden indie darlings.
Игра просто хорошая, короткая но хорошая, рекомендую!
Fun gameplay, both challenging and fun. Decent story with good characters to back it up.
fantastic game, a love child of games like celest and carrion in a very good way. would highly recommend if you like that kind of stuff. Looking foreward to playing more :) My main complaint tho is that they should maybe do a little more work on the hitboxes as it can sometimes feel a bit odd and maybe a checkpoint at the boss fight wouldnt hurt , but overall great game
I found this game while looking for a good start to my youtube channel and It was still being made. I got the demo and It was such a good game! so I joined the discord and waited for the game to come out. the people that talk a lot in the discord are really kind and really funny, and blakey (the creator of the game) is a great person! when I saw that the game was super close to being released, I was SO happy. I sat and waited and finally the game is out. 12/10, 6 stars, this has TOTALLY been worth the wait. game play is good, the plot is good, there are some funny bit here and there, and the game play is great! you could just kill everyone you see, only kill the ones that have weapons, or torture yourself with pacifistic! that is all up to you! I will be posting a good bit of videos on my channel about this game in hopes that it helps the popularity go up. P.s. blakey if your reading this, this was SO worth the torment of waiting for 5 hours and then waiting until I got home to buy this and play it XD
Solid. Soundtrack is great. Ive been playing on Deck, but have encountered bugs in every level that soft lock you. Maybe I wouldn't have had the same problems if I played mouse and keyboard on my pc. Still a good time.
