Is a great idea, but there are a lot of movement bugs and it is not possible to save the game. If you fix these details would became a great viking game!
Having never played a souls like game before, I was not sure what to expect. To call this game difficult is wholey true but I made it to one of the big bosses and he was quite big. Easily seven feet tall. I have learnt many things about vikings today, my favourite being they can fly!
You think Souls-like games are hard? Kid, I was rolling through Blighttown at 10 FPS while you were still learning how to spell “iframes.” I’ve died more times than Sung Jin-Woo’s dungeon rank-ups had surprise bosses. I’ve been ambushed by invaders in the middle of boss fights, solo’d every one of ‘em, and walked out looking like the Shadow Monarch himself. You think dying is failure? Nah. Dying is the tutorial. You ever get one-shot by a boss, study their moveset like Jin-Woo analyzing a high-level magic beast, then come back 10 attempts later and perfect parry every swing? That’s called leveling up. Solo. No summons. Just grit and stubborn pride. In Souls-like games, no one gives you a system window popping up saying “You’ve Leveled Up.” You feel it. In your fingers. In your soul. Every dodge-timed perfectly. Every parry like a declaration of war. Every boss defeated is like clearing a red-gate dungeon by yourself, while the rest of the world watches in awe from the sidelines. You’re not the Chosen Undead, the Ashen One, or the Tarnished. You’re just a hollow with a rusty sword and something to prove. But that’s how it starts. Just like Jin-Woo, crawling through low-rank dungeons with nothing but guts and a hunger to be more. And when you git gud? That’s when you stand up—cloak flapping, glowing eyes, surrounded by shadows—and you look that final boss dead in the face and say: “Arise.”
Cool abilities. Please Delete the archer from the game forever
