The game is slightly different in concept from its predecessor, which is good because it's a little more fun. The creators have placed some funny interludes and the text sometimes reads funny. Collecting and building is back and many blocks are being removed. Also in this part there is Mahjong again. Part 5 is better but much harder, especially the mahjong is intense. We recommend. Das Spiel ist vom Konzept her leicht verändert zum Vorgänger, dies ist gut, weil es etwas mehr Spaß bringt. Die Macher haben einige lustige Einlagen plaziert und auch der Text liest sich mitunter witzig. Sammeln und Bauen ist wieder angesagt und viele Sperren beseitigen. Auch in diesem Teil gibt es wieder Mahjong. Teil 5 ist besser, aber viel schwerer, insbesondere das Mahjong ist heftig. Sehr zu Empfehlen. I enjoy the Viking Brothers Series, but for whatever reason this is a regular port and not the extended version, so there's no bonus levels as in most of the other Viking games. There are the standard in-game achievements but there's not tied to Steam for some reason, whereas most of the other Viking Brothers games are. Otherwise, it's pretty standard. 60 or so levels, and every 10 levels you can play Viking Mah-jonngg. You have the standard choice to play levels casually or against the clock, and the levels themselves are the basic time-management tasks of clearing roads and building farms and quarries and sawmills. Sometimes you'll need one of the two brothers to move a large boulder or fight a mythological animal; the game series is actually a cut above many others in that there's a story to each level (and to the game overall) and there are plenty of dialogue cut-scenes giving you a point to what you're doing. Additionally, besides just standard time-management shenanigans you also have to solve various puzzles, such as figuring out how to lower runes by figuring out the order of runes, and there are a few fetch quests sprinkled in as well. The series has done well enough that it's spawned a few spin-offs such as Viking Sisters and Viking Red-Headed Step-Children, and I think the current iteration is now Viking Heroes (the two brothers and the two sisters team up, usually with the Viking animals.

Wie immer sehr empfehlenswert! Im neuen Teil der Time-Management-Serie ist die Grafik nun auch so schön wie bei Hercules, der Sound dudelt nett vor sich hin. Vom Gameplay her ist das ein wenig entspannter zu genießen, weil man da nicht Millisekunden genau im Eiltempo rum klicken muss, vor allem, weil die Gebäude die Ressourcen bis zu 10 Stück stapeln, und man maximal 5 Einheiten tragen kann. Die Ingame-Errungenschaften sollte man alle locker mitnehmen können. Es sind glaube ich so 50-60 Missionen, plus ein paar optionale Bonusminispiele. Spielzeit und Spielspaß rechtfertigen den Kaufpreis auf jeden Fall, ich hab natürlich wieder kürzlich im Serienbundle-Deal günstig zugeschlagen. Vom Publisher kommen auch die Serien wie z.B. Incredible Dracula und das geniale Rescue Team. Für genug Nachschub ist also gesorgt. Viel Spaß damit. Fazit: kaufen, kaufen, kaufen! :-)

Viking Brothers 5 – отличная казуальная стратегия от Alawar. Это пятая игра серии «Viking Brothers». На этот раз братья Эворанд и Боромир борются против огромного Виверна и пытаются остановить разрушение мира. Для этого им необходимо собрать осколки самоцветов, разбросанных по всему миру. Игра традиционно состоит из основного приключения и бонусной главы. В игре имеется 3 режима – легкий, нормальный и сложный. Советую играть на легком, на котором отсутствует ограничение по времени. Так вы получите максимум удовольствия от игры. Количество уровней выросло до 60, в остальном всё осталось без изменений. Вам необходимо будет собирать припасы, добывать ресурсы в шахтах, разбирать завалы и восстанавливать разрушенные здания. Очень удобно то, что припасы в шахтах могут накапливаться (до 10 штук) и можно забрать их, когда они вам понадобятся. Усиленный алтарь помогает вам превратить братьев в супер-силачей и тогда они смогут преодолеть любые преграды. Также имеются таверны, в которых можно поиграть в маджонг. Развитие игры приостановилось, полная копия предыдущей серии… Игра очень красиво нарисована, а приятное музыкальное сопровождение поможет вам приятно провести время. Достижения присутствуют в игре, в Steam их нет. В игре есть русский язык! Оценка 8/10

Decent game not as difficult as some of the past games in the viking brothers series, but still decently challenging.

WB5 est la suite de la sage. C'est toujours un jeu de gestion du temps et c'est toujours très beau et plaisant à jouer! Quelques petites nouveautés de gameplay comme un autel ou nous pouvons obtenir des bonus divins, ou encore le fait que ce soit Boromir et non plus un ouvrier qui améliore la hutte de base, c'est pas grand chose mais cela fluidifie le début de jeu. J'ai beaucoup apprécié cet opus et ses 60 niveaux, une belle aventure, avec 5 puzzles de mahjong dont le dernier était délicat à obtenir en 3 étoiles. Je recommande Viking Brothers 5. Et quoi qu'en dise la page du magasin, le jeu est en Français!

I am enjoying this game. Most of the games in this series are very simple, so if you are after a more challenging game this may not be for you. The usual road clearing game with nice graphics and characters. Each level is shorter than most of this genre. After the tutorial levels I played them all in under 6 mins so its really just a spare time game. There are no technical faults There are achievements. I bought it a little cheaper than normal, but as there aren't enough games in this genre, I would have bought it anyway. That's up to you. All the Viking Brothers games would also be great fun game for families

This is a casual time management game where you need to complete the levels to complete the game. This game does not have any achievements, however the rest of the franchise has achievements. The art style and gameplay is really nice and it is a nice way to waste some time while you are waiting on something else.
