Victorian Mysteries: Woman in White

I am one of the people who wants to play games such as this for the interesting story , good looking illustrations and some relaxing puzzle and hidden object search . The story and illustrations parts are thumbs up good but forget the relaxing experience. The hints are there for the HOG but they take a long time to recharge and the developers are hell bent on making you painstakingly search and find every single object so when you try in frustration to click fast on more than a couple of objects,you get punished by having your cursor disabled and twirling around the screen. The story kept me going and till half way through , on my third attempt to finish the game , it started crashing to the desktop every time i clicked on the PLAY . Evidently this has happened to others before and no solutions have been found so be aware of the risk of having to delete the game before finishing .

Ugh! one of those games that either hasn't transferred platforms well or the people couldn't be bothered to go through it and fix the bugs!. The click mark is way off where the item is and effects the HOG scenes, I clicked on number of things to have my cursor sent in a whirl to find when I used a hint the item was actually what I clicked on :(. Hint takes painful amounts of time to refill on casual, found this out doing the above bit and I was sitting there tweedling my fingers whilst I waited for it to fill as I had collected everything. Good music and I could see that it would have a good story but all the fuss made me get fed up and I'm a patient player.

[/url] [/quote] Victorian Mysteries: Woman in White is one of a lot like one of the old Lucas Arts point and click mystery games (maniac mansion,Day of the tentacle, monkey island etc) Right away the voice acting is fantastic, Narration hooks you right in The music is quirky enough to keep you interested. In some areas though the music seems unnecessarily intense. Visually is amazing, everything is well drawn, and the UI is nicely done. Overall I would say this game is a nice addition to any point and click mystery library.

Das Spiel ist sehr hölzern und etwas primitiv programmiert, grobe Übersetzungsfehler inklusive. Und mir geht es sehr auf die Nerven, dass negative Empfehlungen oft nicht vom Steamsystem (seit der Umstellung) gespeichert werden. :-(

an old HOG that was originally released in 2010 that is a solid proof of how much effort goes into old HOGs unlike new ones. pros. a very good and interesting story fair difficulty HO scenes good voice acting cons. short. around 1 hour 45 minutes for the story no bonus chapter overall i really enjoyed playing throughout this game. the story is very interesting and never let you go. i highly recommend this game i give it 8/10

Older-like H.O.G. It works. Didn't crash once. I guess the Developers were overly proud of their opening cutscene... Seeing as you can't skip it at all lol. XD Story is okay. Game play is okay. I've played worse. This one is in the "okay, not bad" category. And at least they have kind of a mystery/story. That's it.

This is an old hidden object puzzle game with a Victorian era theme. Click through various hidden object and other similar kinds of casual puzzles to unravel the mystery. This was released on Steam in 2019 but doesn't even feature proper widescreen support, it displays in streteched 4:3 aspect ratio. This really isn't acceptable in this day and age. $7.50 would get you any other hidden object puzzle game with 16:9 support, so this is just impossible to recommend.

Долгая перезарядка подсказки. Декоративная карта, от которой нет пользы. Подсказка иногда указывает на предметы, которых еще нет у игрока. В целом: "Викторианские Тайны: Женщина в Белом" - это старенькая, но увлекательная ищуха, которая понравится поклонникам классических детективов. Она не займет много времени, но позволит приятно провести вечер, разгадывая тайны старинного поместья. Оценка: 7 из 10 Дополнительные комментарии: Игра короткая, ее можно пройти за 2-3 часа. Пазлы несложные, поиск предметов немного сложнее. Озвучка английская, но есть русские субтитры. Рекомендуется: Поклонникам классических детективов. Любителям игр жанра "я ищу". Тем, кто хочет скоротать вечер за увлекательной игрой.
