Странная история доктора Джекила и мистера Хайда - явно замечательная по всем статьям игра, только вот её прелестями насладиться не удастся, без машины времени, или компа на Windows XP, соответствующего года сборки. Игрушка явно старая и сделана в начале 2010-х, но это бы ладно, если бы она работала. Но нет, после старта меню, и нажатия кнопки "новая игра", все это дело успешно валится на рабочий стол, иногда и подвешивая клиент Стима до кучи. Игра не запустилась ни у меня, ни у одного из друзей у кого она есть, ни судя по обзорам, ни у одного мало-мальски адекватного обзорщика. Такие дела. Как итог: зато всегда можно перечитать оригинальную книгу Роберта Стивенсона, или посмотреть один из хороших фильмов по мотивам. Всяко лучше, чем устанавливать это старье, и бить в бубен в попытке его запустить. Всё что удалось получить от этой игры это стартовый ролик и стартовое меню. Хотя подразумевалось, что я потрачу время в игре в стиле point&click с головоломками и какого-то уровня интересности сюжетом. https://youtu.be/3u9W2tDC7pw Из увиденного могу сказать только то, что: 1. Кроме настройки звука в игре нет других настроек, да и те возвращаются к исходному при каждом новом запуске. 2. Разрешение графики на уровне каменного века, когда древним людям тяжело было высечь на стене пещеры сколь-нибудь достойное изображение своим каменным топором. 3. Русского языка в игре нет. 4. Работоспособность текущей версии игры равна нулю. (мои попытки переустановить игру, назначить ей совместимость или хоть как-то поспособствовать её работоспособности не привели к положительному результату.) Ну и какой, вы полагаете, должна быть оценка сего шедевра?..

The hidden object game feels like an early work of a game studio - part professional, part crappy school project. Many items sit in impossible locations or are scaled way out of proportion. Don't be surprised to see a screw as tall as a house. Some of the location backgrounds are badly assembled. The voiceovers, character portraits and story writing on the other hand are top notch. No surprise in the case of the story, as it is an adaption of the original novel from the late 19th century. Play this game if you are interested in the old novel but would rather experience it as a game. Otherwise, the old novel is available for free, as an ebook, and is a decent read. If you are just looking for a hidden object game, pick a different one. There are lots of those of much higher quality available here on Steam.

Etwas altbacken, aber mir gefällt es dennoch gut. :) Das Spiel besteht aus Wimmelbildszenen, in denen wir dazu aufgefordert werden bestimmte Dinge zu finden, z.B. Schuhabdrücke, Fingerabdrücke, diverse Gegenstände. Immer mal wieder schiebt sich ein kleines Minispiel/Rätsel/Puzzle usw. mit in die Handlung hinein. Die Geschichte wird mithilfe eines Buches, das bei den einzelnen Kapiteln erscheint erzählt und anhand von Charakterköpfen, die in den Szenen auftauchen und mit Sprechblasen versehen sind. Wunsch: Deutsche Übersetzung

I have always been a fan of all things dark and spooky and the story of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde is one of my favorites! This game not only tells the classic story (based on the nineteenth century book by Robert Louis Stevenson) it also has a very mysterious atmosphere. I must ad, that I love HO games and adventures, and this game is a nice mixture. This is a well-made hidden object adventure with a thrilling storyline and some things to reveal There’s a bonus section where you can practice or replay the puzzles in the game. The music is not annoying and the graphics are good (some hidden objects are a bit small sometimes). I can recommend the game for HO fans like me.

An old HOG that was originally released in 2011. pros. ok story ok sound tracks cons. no voice acting apart from the introduction scene short game play time around 2 hours and 19 minutes for the main story no bonus story kinda predictable ending bad ending despite all the cons i have listed i did enjoy the game. it was very simple and not boring. get it on sale. 7/10

Strictly text story, and HOG windows, and a puzzle at the end of each HOG window.

I really enjoyed this search game. I didn't have any big bugs, but some places did take long to load and I did have to reload a level due to a glitch, but other than that it is a really fun game and easy to complete.
