This game is a true gem. The gameplay, which caters casuals as good as pros, is equally enjoyable with controller, m/k, on a big screen, on a small screen. Runs perfectly on steam machine and appears to be free of obvious bugs, as I have not encountered any on any system. The visuals, for what they are meant to be, are beautiful (yes folks, this is UE). Gorgeous even, if you have a sweet spot for the Quake era brutalism megastructure aesthetic like I do. And the game does encourage you to wander of and do exactly that, if you don't care for the fastest time once in a while: Explore your surroundings, find easter eggs, b-side level entrances and absorb that mixture of a melancholic soundtrack, thought through level design and one of the most beautiful, minimalist approaches to world building I have seen since a while. Without many words or cutscenes this game oozes atmosphere and mood, the world building is spot on. I will not stop to recommend this game to folks IRL, as well as here: Experiencing what a tiny team of highly skilled indie devs is capable of, in times of disrupted gaming economy, crazy hardware markets and gutting layoffs at veteran AAA studios, surely is a tremendous relieve. Indies will be shaping a huge part of gaming's future. Absolute recommendation, even if you just like one of the aspects of the game.
