About

Armed with a variety of skills and traits, you must use your cunning and reflexes to survive the dangers of each stage, until you face the final boss and uncover the truth behind the game!

FEATURES
- Randomly generated stages, enemies and bosses, resulting in a very replayable game
- Artwork, coding and animation done by one person (me) in that unique Nerdook style
- Split screen, local co-op, as well as local network coop!
- Destructible terrain and multiple uses for each skill gives you plenty of options to approach the different situations generated
- Tons of skills, abilities, traits and powers that you can unlock in the game, creating a different hero each time
- Unique combat system where proper planning is more important than quick reflexes
- Persistent upgrades allow you to carry forward progress between games, with a choice between increasingly expensive persistent upgrades or generally cheaper temporary upgrades
- Every enemy and boss has been designed to provide challenge and variety

i have a huge nostalgia for nerdooks games but this one is frustrating it just doesnt beat the original, it doesnt even come close to comparing and its so frustrating as i was a huge fan of this game as a child
It's just good fun truthfully. A nice game to relax too.
Game is pretty fun but after the update it looks sad asf...
############################################################################################ FATAL ERROR in action number 1 of Draw Event for object obCharBox: Unable to find any instance for object index '101009' name '<undefined>' at gml_Object_obCharBox_Draw_0 ############################################################################################ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- stack frame is gml_Object_obCharBox_Draw_0 (line -1) I've been playing since the update but it looks like the game is crashing while playing splitscreen the moment the p1 dies I don't think it used to do that before the update just letting the people know fun game its great playing again with my kiddo
not as good as the flash game
+Some player choice -Game starts with a main menu that you cannot get past with mouse without any indication that you should use keyboard? -> UX/UI issues -Runs poorly; feels like it's limited to 30 FPS -Did not drive me to play more -Incremental roguelite, not my cup of tea. Expected more of a roguelike-experience. Someone compared this to Rogue Legacy. That's 10x better game - then again likely 10x the price too. =Neutral review, but since I would not recommend such game for myself, I won't do it to you either.
Simple, but fun. A great introduction to rogue-like genre. Not a whole lot to the game play loop, but it feels well polished for how simple it is.
