This game is fun if you like being confused and bored at the same time.

Venture Valley: The game that will make you question if you have what it takes to be a business mogul. Imagine taking the excitement of playing Monopoly, mixing it with the strategy of a chess game, and then adding in the graphics of a Tamagotchi. That's Venture Valley in a nutshell. The gameplay is addictive and fun, with players trying to outsmart their opponents by slamming down cards and building their empire from scratch. You start with a dog walking business and work your way up to creating a successful mini-golf, pizza parlor, drone delivery service, robot factory, and other exciting companies. But beware, your opponents will leave you scrambling to deal with their muddling effects. The tutorial is pretty to the point, but it takes some getting used to with trying to remember which businesses of yours have marketing or not, and trying to find a balance between product costs and employee wages. The levels do get harder as you go on, so make sure you pay attention to what you're supposed to be doing. The game is set in different locations like Fortune Springs, Mapleburgs, Brickyard and The Palms, each location presents new challenges as you make your way to the Venture Tower penthouse suite. The Custom Lobby and Multiplayer matches will continue to challenge you as you make your way through this bustling metropolis. In short, Venture Valley is a cute and fun game that will make you feel like a true business tycoon. But beware, it's also highly addictive and might make you question your own business acumen.

Absolute waste of time. Tutorial is broken and doesn't progress, gameplay that I got to see was extremely poor. Game doesn't even have an exit game button accessible. Very poor.

I had no issues playing the game at all. The tutorial is pretty to the point. It took some getting used to with trying to remember which businesses of mine had marketing or not, and trying to find a balance between product costs and employee wage. I played it for an hour, did a few solo levels and a couple of multiplayer ones. My first multiplayer one I forgot one of the businesses that I was supposed to open and so I ended up doing poorly. Make sure you pay attention to that! I won my second multiplayer match, and it was rather light hearted. I think this game will continue to grow based off the HELPFUL feedback people provide for the developers. Remember that a lot of time and effort go into making games, and ripping into dev's for an early access game just isn't helpful for them. It's a cute game for what it is, and the levels do get harder as you go on.
