"Polity - Online Role Playing" is a shovelware mobile app that's been dumped on Steam as a cash grab. The idea of the game is to give all your money to the developers via the cancerous in-game cash shop. This kind of thing really should be banned, it's predatory and absolutely uncool. There's a "game" of sorts attached to the cash shop, and it's awful. It's basically an inglorified ripoff of Animal Crossing/Farmville/whatever, but with a bigger focus on grind and mobile app cash shop cancer. This features fairly low quality low poly 3D visuals which will deter a lot of gamers, understandably. Gaming is a visual medium, and it's clear the developers behind this didn't understand that. This isn't really free as the game is infested with mobile app store like microtransactions. This is a consumer hostile model that we don't need to see on PC. It's deceptively priced to gouge gamers, and that's a reason in itself to avoid this. Even though this is "free", it failed to appeal to the 120 million+ gamers on Steam. SteamDB showed the game peaked at just a dozen or so concurrent players, and now there's basically nobody playing it. Even though it's free. This is a dismal public reception, but it's easy to see why gamers rejected it. Bearing in mind that free games don't add +1 to your game collector count, should you bother adding this to your library and downloading it? Nope. This isn't worth downloading. While this didn't cost me any money up front, I still feel ripped off.

В этой игре еще более душно чем у меня дома в 33 градусную жару... https://youtu.be/xG-0PbM1_yU
A buggy mess with virtually zero community, despite apparently having been in Early Access since 2021 according to the store page. There's no wiki. The discussion forum is empty; I currently represent 50% of the 2 posts that exist there right now. None of the items ingame have descriptions or tell you what they're used for. You're left to figure out everything yourself all while a hunger meter counts down from 100 -3/minute, and if you forget to store all your stuff before you die, you lose your whole inventory you spent all that time running around collecting. That said, it is FAR more cost-effective to simply die and respawn than to buy/make food. So that's cool, gotta love the sort of thoughtless game design that encourages players to circumvent its features like that. Gaining EXP takes FOREVER. I've apparently played a total of 14 hours now, wanna guess what my player level is? It's 5. Want to know how many more game features opened up to me in that time? Zero. I gained access to like 3 new zones, and that's it. On that subject, so much for this being an "open world" game, since zones are level-locked. So I've been stuck running around the same 6-7 maps this entire time. To say it's unengaging would be an extreme understatement. Apparently you get the main quest up to level 10, and after that, they expect you to buy the rest. LOL. Having put no effort into making the experience addictive or inticing at all, they want you to buy more of the same? Why would I want to do that? What I've experienced so far is mind-numbingly dull. All the text feels AI generated, all the quests are randomly generated (some of them break, like the one I have to talk to the priest, I can't reroll it or anything so I am permanently -1 on my available quest pool.) There's one absolutely horrendous map that blasts obnoxiously loud zoomer music at you as soon as you enter, and it doesn't care if you've set the Master volume and Music volume to zero, because it will reset it. Every. Single. Time. So if you're running back and forth across the linear progression of zones in order to do your rando sidequests, you have to constantly go into the settings and reset the volume sliders every time you pass by this map. I picked the Forester job at the start. But I saw some pre-existing people (who mysteriously don't seem to be playing the game anymore... I wonder why) who had both jobs (yes, I said 'both'; there's only two jobs in the game, forester or farmer). I couldn't figure out how to get the other one. Also couldn't figure out how to expand my tiny workshop, so I ran out of room for new production facilities. They want you to pay 100 diamonds to start your own island colony, which again, no. Show me a good time first, don't lock all the fun behind a paywall so that I never get to experience it and thus never have a reason to spend money. The camera is fixed to this terrible isometric view that gives you a migraine after a while. Picking up trash is touted as an alternative form of leveling from sidequests and job order fulfillment. Trash gives you 1 exp. Sidequests and orders give around 20-30 exp. At level 5, I need over 5000 exp to level up. Nobody buys anything from the market stalls because everyone is broke because it's so hard to earn money or EXP. And because there's less than 10 people online. On a newly launched game that had Early Access and should at least be starting with a large influx of players, even if populations inevitably die down. Here, it's D.O.A. A squandered idea that needed a far more capable development team and another 2 years in internal testing before daring to ask people for $$$ just to buy their character a shirt.
Dead game.
oldukça keyifli başladı
Pretty nice cellphone n consoles game.. project. should have autorunning to objective like in BDO, and controller support.
bu tür Online Role Play oyun sevenler için sıkılmadan oynuyabiliceği bir oyun belki oyunda tek sinir bozabilicek şey kamera açısı ayarlama olabilir
amazing gameplay
