VEGAS Pro Edit 21 Steam Edition

В остальном, я привык монтировать в VEGAS'е. Удобно, если вы не слишком хотите ударяться в визуалки и анимации, а просто геймплей нарезать. Но мб уже даже CapCut в этом плане лучше.

I upgraded from Vegas Movie Studio 13 to Vegas Pro Edit 21. While Pro Edit does freeze/crash more than movie studio 13, it does have it's advantages and it offer render via graphics card (something old Vegas Movie Studio 13 doesn't offer), better support of render options etc. One workaround to avoid freeze/crash as much as the other reviews seem to have (for me personally, only happened a few times 39 hours in) is to save often and give the editor the footage it wants (basically mp4 in my case). It suits my needs. I would recommend if you're someone who doesn't use plugins, effects or somebody who only does basic editing (no fancy stuff). Just beware that it might not like multi-track audio shenanigans.

not being able to have 2 instances open at the same time is insane... and no this is not a "steam limitation" like the lazy devs want you to believe, they just don't care enough to fix this, insane how you have to pirate the software you paid for to be able to use 2 at the same time

EN : Crashes randomly, but not the kind of crash where everything just stops responding. It’s the kind where the software keeps running very slowly, but will never actually finish the task. It gives you a false sense of hope that you haven’t lost all the time spent rendering your video. Result: after an entire night, it was still stuck at 97%. And that’s not even counting the random crashes during video editing… Honestly, I regret upgrading from Vegas 13 to Vegas 21. I never had any issues with version 13. But if I ever wanted to produce Full HD videos, I didn’t really have a choice but to upgrade. When are we finally going to get a version of Vegas that actually works properly? C’est plutôt un crash du genre : le logiciel continue de fonctionner très lentement, mais il ne terminera jamais le travail demandé. Il te donne une fausse lueur d’espoir que tu ne perdras pas tout le temps passé à convertir la vidéo. Résultat : après une nuit entière, il était toujours à 97 %. Sans compter le fait qu’il plante aussi de façon aléatoire durant le montage vidéo… Bref, je regrette d’être passé de Vegas 13 à Vegas 21. Je n’ai jamais eu de problème avec la version 13. Cependant, si je voulais un jour pouvoir faire des vidéos en Full HD, je n’avais pas vraiment le choix d’upgrader. À quand un Vegas qui fonctionne réellement ? Peu importe la version, aucune ne réussit à obtenir un avis positif auprès de la communauté depuis plusieurs années.
