is fun yep
I played the demo for this game several times before buying and playing the full Vecrtomirror. I loved the demo and initially I loved this game, but my experience got worse as I played. I love the controls and the mechanics; the visuals, music, and story are great as well. Unfortunately the the environments and level design slowly take a turn from fun and challenging to outright infuriating. Movement is very fast and floaty, which is good for a platformer designed for travelling long distances. But that movement begins to become a hinderance when you are having to jump on extremely small platforms. Overshooting is common, and when you do finally get on the tiny platform it's common for your character to just run off it instead of running and jumping, and if you jump and then move forward you will not have momentum to get to the next platform. The starts as a fun, fast-paced platformer, but then turns into a slow, trial and error, many times even luck-based platformer. At one point the game even introduces invisible platforms. Narratively the unfair level design does make sense, but it was not fun at all to play. I did manage to get to the last level which was a large multi-objective maze, but I could not complete it. Running through the same maze over and over again and not being able to find the last objective finally broke me and killed my desire to finish the game. The level design being greedy checkpoints make all these problems even worse. Maybe one day I'll try picking it up again. I really wanted to be able to leave a positive review for this game, but I can't recommend a game that I think only the first half is fun. If you enjoy spending hours trial and erroring your way through the same sections of a game then maybe this one is for you, but apparently it was not for me. Overall: 4/10 My total playtime: 6.1 hours
The game is unforgiving, a platformer fps in which you have almost no room for error and where you don't have a constant guide excluding the tutorial. Although the game isn't long, it's fun for a game that's in early access. The only thing I was expecting that would've been different 2 years after it was published would be it having more content than Vectormirror 0. Don't get me wrong, the game's great, if you want to get a feel for the game first then I suggest playing Vectormirror 0 (it's free and less difficult so if you feel up to the challenge then try out this version)
very underrated, also the graphics are cool
its cool
great game
