Vast Haven-1 VR

The game is broken on Rift S and does not go past a black screen once you click the start button.

I found this very interesting. I am surprised that it isn't a much bigger deal that a new commercial space station is launching in about a year, and that I only heard about it from this app. It is a roughly 10 minute guided tour of the station. It isn't meant to be an incredible vr experience, it's purpose is to give a brief overview and look inside the ststion. If that is something that interests you, you will like this. If it doesn't than you likely won't.

It sucks, you cant actually explore the station and you're stuck on rails

Surprised at the negative reviews. This isn't meant to be a game, it just showcases the incredible work that VAST is doing from a VR perspective. Ran smoothly for me with no issues. The view out the window at the end of the experience is awe-inspiring. If you like space, I would highly recommend checking this out. It's free after all.

The app is immersive and runs quite smoothly. The interior of the station is super-clean and designed, which makes a pleasant change from the usual space stations. It runs smoothly in the headset. There are a few small interactions, but it’s mostly a short, contemplative experience. And it’s cool to think that this station will actually exist soon.

Bad game with minimal interactivity and terrible movement, however, the spacecraft does look very nice and the graphics are immaculate even though it's probably just because the map is so small. Would enjoy some actual gameplay or a chance to participate in some of the science experiments shown in the main room. Guess I can't really complain though, it's a free game, enjoy it if you want to.

This is a advertisement for Vast, essentially a movie with very minimal interactivity. The game is glitchy and gets stuck sometimes. The big payoff of a VR view of Earth from space I was waiting is disappointing. Even though this is short, it was a waste of time. And promoting Starlink made it feel even more like an irritating PR piece by the wealthy investors.
