I am enjoying the game immensely, but it is genuinely unpleasant to play it in headphones. The sound editing is very amateurish and so a lot of the sound is not the best (for example panopto whatses-face needs a declicker. I can hear her lips smacking together and throat swallowing. I don't even have a sensitivity to that, but my god it's hard going). There's also loads of moments where the voice acting has been clipped a hair early, so a word that would ordinarily slide out a bit more just en- hate that. Also, this is just a silly nitpick, but I wasn't into the enthusiastic goth couple at the start. Thought I had a chance to disentangle from them and avoid the minigame, but Crimson just kinda drops you in it. Later on she gets all uppity about 'consent' because you 'did therapy' on her. Lady, where was my consent when you fed me to the goths in the kink room? I'm just being nice, I even pretended to think you looked 21 :(

So, this cover content in my medical psychology and psychiatry module in med school. This totally counts as studying and I might show my psych placement tutor this game. I just need to make sure I don't use the terms like 'nosferatu thinking' that are used in the game in my exams and assignments.
beautiful art, beautiful voice acting. this game did keep trying to make me read transcendentalism though which just isnt happening
Gorgeous art style, game play and storyline
The premise of this game I do appreciate, and I have for the most part been enjoying it, but I have to ask whether the developers or whoever was doing the writing for this game has some kind of severe personal bias going on when every single character has to make some kind of remark or jab at Americans. Painting everyone with the same brush just because they're from one country is real black and white thinking. And it doesn't really help the impression that, this being done by a European studio, that Europeans would then continue to be perceived as elitist snobs who belittle every culture outside of their own. Not that I would do that myself, but it could contribute to that narrative, you know?
Delightful, witty! Magnificently written AND voice acted, a very unique game that also serves some nice reminders for your personal journey.
