About
You are the Nomad — an elder vampire awakening from a century-long slumber, new to the modern nights. Trapped in your Blood is a stranger’s voice. This entity, a vampire detective known as Fabien, will be your guide to 21st-century Seattle. You will explore the city through his eyes as well as those of the Nomad, as you revisit a cold case from a hundred years ago that is threatening undead and mortal society alike.
Hunt your way through a modern-night Seattle on the brink of an open supernatural war in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire Court of Seattle and its dark underbelly in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.

Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. You’ll stalk and feed on the city’s population at night. Use your supernatural powers or raw persuasion on unsuspecting mortals to lure them into dark alleys and slake your Hunger. However, be cautious about breaking the Masquerade: revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating from there. Remember, you are not the only creature that goes bump in the night.
Experience immersive, visceral combat that rewards various playstyles and approaches based on your choice of vampire clan. Will you engage in close combat with supernatural strength, attack from a distance with blood sorcery, or silently thin the herd like the apex predator you are? Your clan choice will support these playstyles and more.

Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing. In this sequel to the cult classic, your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what becomes of the city and its people.

I really enjoy this game. There are positives and negatives, but if you keep in mind that this is a AA game saved from the brink by a studio that didn't have that much time or resources for it, I think there's a lot to find. The storyline is a super fun whirlwind of character drama typical to the VTM universe. You get the pleasure of being able to be an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or nice to people as you want. It's really fun to do both types of playthroughs, I especially enjoyed riling up Lou in replays. The story, like Bloodlines 1, is all about why vampires shouldn't open boxes. The characters and world of Seattle's court are really fun. Fabien in particular shines as the best part of the game, the absolute heart of it. The combat and movement takes a bit to get used to, but once it clicks and you understand how to use your abilities (and get enough level up points to get all of the clan passives) things really slot together and you feel like a god. You move so quickly and have so many options with telekinsis and your various vampire abilities, it's so fun. I especially loved my Ventrue playthrough, running around with bullets pinging off marble skin is amazing and lets you play in a super risky way. The new game plus mode offers a lot of options to help streamline the replay (and you can change tons of options to make it suit the way you want). There's a lot of achievements here for various types of combat encounters and ability combos, lots of reasons to replay and explore. The DLCs are fun extra stories with different gameplay because you're playing as other characters. Loose Cannon is shorter and feels like it gives less information overall, but you still get some insight into Benny. The Flower and the Flame has way more substance to it in terms of lore and character information, so I found it much more fulfilling. The final boss of both DLCs is fun, Benny's is basically doing his boss fight AS him, which is odd but fascinating. Ysabella can actually skip her final boss depending on what choice you make. I wish the DLCs explore some AU-possibilities alongside showing us the 'canon', but it's fine. The combat update that lets you hold weapons I could take or leave honestly, it feels really unnecessary for Phyre. They just put it in because people kept complaining, but I think it probably took more dev time than it was worth. It was nice for Benny and Ysabella though, since they're noticeably weaker. I'm not a fan of the most recent update that limits if Phyre can get certain side quests or not because it decreases replayability and also gives certain clans less options. Next time I play, I'm probably looking to see if there's any mod to fix that. Overall, this is a pretty fun game and interesting romp. If you like the VTM setting and typical Camarilla-centric drama, you'll have a blast.
Vampire: Bloodlines 2 - Informal Review Is it a great game? No. Enjoyable? Sure. Does it live up to the original? Not a chance. Should you just go replay Bloodlines yet again? Probably. Decent story, writing, and acting. An interesting vampire drama whodunnit with quite a few twists and turns, a few which are a bit predictable. Interplay between the different factions and characters is interesting and suits a VtM game perfectly well. Malkavians are not portrayed as "hurr durr I'm crazy and wacky" cringey, which I found refreshing. A few clans missing that might have been nice to see, although I feel like if you already have Brujah and Anarchs you don't really also need the Gangrel. Barely any role-playing options, outside of a few key decisions that will impact your ending. It's like they forgot the "role playing" part of this "role playing game". Fight gameplay is fun once you get into the groove, and you can mix it up to go stealthy or mass murdery. Kill animations can get repetitive once you've seen them 10 times. Core gameplay loop (missions etc) is quite repetitive. Missions suffer from some long story segments padded with fetch-quest type sections that do nothing but drag the game out for an extra few hours. Various vampire abilities are fun. Selection of Vampire clan, on the other hand, barely holds any meaning beyond passive abilities, discounted abilities, and the occasional dialogue option. Malkavian sections, however, felt forced/wasted as you're basically railroaded into using certain abilities at certain times. Setting doesn't feel at all like Seattle, despite what it says on the tin. No Space Needle? No Pike's Market? Not Seattle. Thematically it's also only barely a horror game. More of a vampire mass murder simulator if anything. Bloodlines 1 had some truly great horror sections. This one leans too heavily on "more blood is scarier, right?" Google says there are 6 endings, but at around 20-30 hours it's still enough of a slog after a point that I wouldn't recommend playing through it more than once. If you want to know how the other endings pan out a wiki is your friend.
Gameplay is fine, albeit repetitive. Once you get the hang of it. Though for some reason, your character will constantly do like, the opposite of the dialogue option you clicked. Eventually I even ended up with some random ending, directly opposed to what dialogue options I'd been choosing throughout the game. What's the point of an adventure game with multiple endings if you get one on accident? Might as well have been more linear, which is the direction the game leans into anyway. Performance optimisation is weak. I got frame drops at weird places, but nothing horrible. Got softlocked a couple times too, but reloading a save solved it well enough. Some places, especially vents, let you clip your camera through walls, which you'd definitely expect not to be an issue. Good timesink if you get it on sale, but can't recommend for €70.
Good Stuff !!! Finished once on a pirated copy. Half way through my second play through decided it was worth purchase.
Good game
This preset main character crap is lazy as hell. This is not part of Bloodlines at all, in my opinion. Thanks for making us wait for this absolute garbage. I even pre-ordered the game and got a refund, thank God, before this disgusting, lazy crap game came out. I heard this was garbage. I am so glad I got it on sale. But now I regret it. Even getting it on sale wasn't worth the money I wasted! Don't waste your time on this crap game. ):<
It feels like cyberpunk 2077 but you're a vampire.
Это лучше чем я думал
