About
You are the Nomad — an elder vampire awakening from a century-long slumber, new to the modern nights. Trapped in your Blood is a stranger’s voice. This entity, a vampire detective known as Fabien, will be your guide to 21st-century Seattle. You will explore the city through his eyes as well as those of the Nomad, as you revisit a cold case from a hundred years ago that is threatening undead and mortal society alike.
Hunt your way through a modern-night Seattle on the brink of an open supernatural war in Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, where visceral vampire action meets a neo-noir murder mystery. Navigate the vampire Court of Seattle and its dark underbelly in this action RPG, realized by the BAFTA award-winning studio The Chinese Room.

Blood sustains you and empowers your vampiric Disciplines. You’ll stalk and feed on the city’s population at night. Use your supernatural powers or raw persuasion on unsuspecting mortals to lure them into dark alleys and slake your Hunger. However, be cautious about breaking the Masquerade: revealing your true nature risks reprisals, starting with law enforcement and escalating from there. Remember, you are not the only creature that goes bump in the night.
Experience immersive, visceral combat that rewards various playstyles and approaches based on your choice of vampire clan. Will you engage in close combat with supernatural strength, attack from a distance with blood sorcery, or silently thin the herd like the apex predator you are? Your clan choice will support these playstyles and more.

Enter the World of Darkness and rise through vampire society or rail against it. Experience Seattle - a city full of alluring, dangerous characters and factions, not to mention the mortals at stake in the clash of powers beyond their knowing. In this sequel to the cult classic, your choices, plots, and schemes will determine the balance of power and what becomes of the city and its people.

Reviews
Never had a game gave me so many mixed feeling that I felt like writing a review, I'll start with this : IT IS A GOOD GAME, the GAME is fun, combat is fast, story is neat, characters have a lot of charm and soul BUT it is in no way a sequel to the original bloodline and it is in no way, shape or form even CLOSE to being worth it's full BASE PRICE, GET IT AT A DISCOUNT, I BEG OF YOU. That's about 15 hours or so worth of content in the base game, granted haven't done the DLCs at the time of writing, but base game with all it's "sidequest" which half the time are just "Go kill this guy" and the usual collectible hunt in an honestly very small seattle isn't particularly fun, imo. HAVING SAID THAT : The game is fun. I had a solid 4 nights of playing it, small frustrations here and there with controls and the kind of annoying feeding mechanics BUT outside of that ? Fun game. It is an action game, you jump around, you glide, you punch, kick and drink people and THAT PART IS FUN. HOWEVER, it isn't 79$ (CAD) worth of fun, far from it, having gotten it at half price even then I'd say it's a bit pricey but I can at the very least kind of get it. If you want a good action vampire game, this might be what you want ! Do not expect any real impactful story-driven mechanics, your MC is paper thin and no matter what you do the game kind of aims you more or less in the same direction, but it is a very fun action vampire game, just don't buy it full price.
tl;dr Stop reading about the game and play it. This is best experienced spoiler free, and it's an amazing experience if you're willing to slow down and meet the game where it's at. This is, in my opinion, one of the most beautifully assembled games in existence. The visuals are gorgeous, the story is phenomenal. It does an excellent job of bringing you into the World of Darkness without any prior knowledge, without being overbearing towards players who know the WoD already. That being said, if you're here because you liked Bloodlines 1, this is not a sequel. The publisher forced the devs to keep the title, despite massive rewrites that took the story far, far away from being a true sequel to Bloodlines 1. And if you're here just for high octane vampire violence full of blood and gore, this might not be the game for you. There is blood, there is gore, but this is a game that wants you to slow down between gruesome combat scenes and think about what has happened. The combat is great, but it's not the focus. This is a mystery, a noir detective story, and a damn good one at that. It doesn't click into place until the very end, but all the cards are on the table within a small handful of hours. It's beautifully done, and every red herring is replaced with an even more interesting reveal as you move forward. This isn't a sequel to Bloodlines 1. It is, however, the only thing a game called Bloodlines 2 could be: A loveletter to the first game; an incredible narrative experience; a gorgeous and gore-filled window into the World of Darkness, full of amazing performances, wonderfully crafted characters, and a story that keeps you on the edge of your seat until the very end. This game, simply, would have received better reviews if it wasn't titled Bloodlines 2. But don't let the mixed ratings deter you from trying it out; it really is an amazing experience, and well worth the roughly 24 hour playtime for your first complete playthrough—and WELL worth a second playthrough to watch all of the cards get laid in front of you Once You're In The Know.
great game, story becomes tedious with flashbacks but worth playing
- An empty, lifeless open world that offers no incentive to explore. - Severely lacking in enemy variety, - Unfun detective sequences that feel like artificial padding, unnecessarily stretching the game's runtime. These sections eventually became so tedious and exhausting that I quit playing, especially since they couldn't be skipped. - Seriously lacking in memorable or likable characters. Most of the characters feels mediocre at best. - Tolly — an obnoxious character whose writing feels forced.
I really tried and wanted to like this but couldn't. The story is slow and not engaging.
Ainda assim, a experiência diverte.
I highly recommend this Dishonored 3 sequel :D
I really enjoyed this game. Going to buy the dlc and playthrough again. Would recommend.
