Vampire®: The Masquerade-Bloodlines™ delivers a new type of RPG experience-one that blends all the core elements of a traditional RPG with the graphical richness, immediacy and brutal combat of a first-person action game. The game plunges players into the dark and gritty vampire underworld of modern-day L.A. as a creature of the night.

Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
12 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 2/day in the week to Sep 3 → 2.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

A bit too linear for me, but a trillion times better than the overpriced slop that studios put out today...oh Troika Games, my beloved, where hath thou gone? Why hath thou left us at the mercy of greedy Bethesdaites and reddit corrupted Larians.

12 on sale3 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 3 “not sold” markets are read from the Steam price pass of Sep 7: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price in those. The 12 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

Every time i go back onto this game, there's an issue with my save data, forcing me to restart the entire game as it stands. its a good game, however if you're like me and heavily dislike constantly restarting an experience, then you will not enjoy this game in the slightest.
Finally finished it, and I really do get the hype. However, it has a similar problem to Planescape: Torment, where it starts out more focused on story, and by the end is way more focused on combat, much to it's detriment, HOWEVER, the combat in VTMB is actually FUN sometimes, so it's not too bad. I am a bit upset that, after a full game of EVERYONE telling you "Don't open the sarcophagus!", there's no option to just smash the key. Sure, what's actually in the sarcophagus is a surprise too good to let anyone miss out on it, but it still annoyed me.

So close to being an absolute masterpiece. I originally wanted to play this game, because I was already very interested by it and it's upcoming sequel. Now that I've finished it, I think I'm going to skip the sequel since it seems like a bad game that doesn't follow anything that made this game so special. Like I said at the start, this game would've been perfect If it just would've had more time in the oven. The development on this game is pretty infamous and It's how I discovered it. They were trying to compete with the release of Half-Life 2, so they rushed development and released it the same day as Valve did. HL2 was obviously more successful and Troika Games, the developers for this game closed it's doors shortly after. But despite that I think that this game is miles better than HL2. I'll give HL2 some credit though. It's definitely more polished, has better combat and uhh... yeah that's about it. Both games were ahead of it's time, but I still feel like this game is just better. The voice acting for example is just phenomenal. Every performance is great and the facial animations are also still really impressive. The animations put even recent games to shame. Like take for example Avowed, which came out this year and somehow has worse facial animations than a 21 year old game. I would honestly say that it even has better animations than it's recently released sequel. This game uses the Source Engine, and if you've ever played a game that utilizes that engine you know that It can get pretty janky, and this game is no exception. The jank in this game was at first ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ unbearable, which is why I downloaded the Unofficial Patch which makes the game a 1000x more better. The story is great and I love the world of the game. I've always been more of a Werewolf type of guy (sigma) but I'm leaning towards the vampire side now. I loved the beginning of the game and just exploring this new underworld of vampires. This game also has some of the best side quests of all time, in my opinion. In one mission you're exploring a spooky mansion that's reminiscent of The Shining, and then the next you're trying to catch a serial killer, and then after that you're fighting a huge ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gargoyle. The quests are honestly just really fun and well made. My problems with the game is that the combat is really, really annoying. The melee combat sucks and is really janky. The guns feel good but if you're shooting somebody else with a gun they're almost guaranteed to hit you every time. Either every enemy has aimbot or I just suck. My other problem is that you really feel how rushed this game is near the end. I went against LaCroix and I loved shooting my way up his tower, but it all just kind of felt lackluster compared to the rest of the game. I also thought the ending was really abrupt. I sided with the Anarch's which ended with LaCroix's tower exploding. Then there's a hint for a sequel that never happened, and then it just ends. It wasn't bad or anything but it kind of just left me saying "Oh... That's it?" Overall: Really amazing and I had a great time playing this. I want to thank the people who made the Unofficial Patch, because you guys made the game playable and more bearable. Edit: Nvm it's a perfect game.
