I am 32 years old. My ex-wife and I have a daughter together, and we adopted our son together. Both are now 4 years old. When we were going through our separation, I felt lost and unhappy. I was self-destructive. One day, I was so angry with everything spiraling out of control that I punched a concrete wall in a moment of overwhelming emotion. This resulted in breaking my fifth metacarpal in my right hand—the hand I worked with, played games with, and used to carry my children to bed—the hand I desperately needed to ensure I could continue providing. Upon learning the severity of the self-inflicted damage, I became almost suicidal. Keep in mind that just a few months before this, I was the happiest man, with no history of depression or anxiety. I had never experienced anger outbursts, nor was I the type to break down and cry, but I was in a tough situation that truly prevented me from seeing the light on the other side. With nothing better to do, I looked for a game I could play WITH ONE HAND while recovering. Somehow, I stumbled upon this game and read some of the comments. I decided it was worth a try... I must admit I didn't beat the game, nor did I play as much as some of you. In fact, I may have played this game for only a day or two. That being said, after doing so, I had a new joy and hope for life. I managed to leave behind the pain and suffering that had been thrust upon me. I could experience the joy and happiness of other people. I relaxed for 5 ♥♥♥♥ minutes listening to this music, long enough to realize that I would be okay. After realizing this, I turned off the game and went back to work. My hand hurt a lot, but I was motivated. I stopped feeling so sorry for myself and became the father I needed to be at that moment, not the weak boy I was behaving like. Today, I am close friends with the mother of my children. We don't fight, argue, or say hurtful things to each other. We are parents and friends. Now I have 3 children. My third child is, wait, ALSO 4 YEARS OLD. The woman I am with was going through a very similar situation at the time of my separation, and we just unexpectedly stumbled into each other's lives. We have been dating for a year and are very happy together. Moral of the story: you never know what life has in store for you, and if I had given up when all odds were against me, I wouldn't be where I am today. This silly little game helped me realize that. Thank you.
A beautiful game. I paid this game and the money was very well spent. Thank you to producers.
Vairon’s Wrath, developed and published by Myoubouh Corp, is an indie action RPG that successfully captures the charm and challenge of classic 8-bit and 16-bit titles while offering its own distinct identity. Players step into the role of Vairon, a determined young warrior driven by a quest for vengeance against the demonic forces that have brought chaos to his homeland. The story is woven through a variety of unique villages and locations, introducing memorable characters and side plots that enrich the main narrative and make the world feel lived-in and dynamic. The blend of personal stakes and larger-than-life fantasy elements gives the game both emotional depth and epic scale. The gameplay of Vairon’s Wrath is a careful mix of exploration, combat, and puzzle-solving. Players traverse diverse environments, from verdant forests to dark dungeons, encountering a range of enemies and challenges along the way. Combat is real-time and emphasizes timing, positioning, and strategy, allowing players to wield an array of weapons and magical items to suit different playstyles. In addition to fighting, the game incorporates puzzles that require observation and logical thinking, adding variety to the action and encouraging players to engage deeply with their surroundings. Hidden secrets and optional side quests further expand the experience, rewarding exploration and curiosity. Graphically, the game embraces a retro-inspired pixel art style that evokes nostalgia without feeling outdated. Each location is distinct, with attention to detail that gives every village, forest, and dungeon its own character. The pixel art animations are fluid, making character movements and combat feel satisfying and responsive. The overall aesthetic strikes a balance between simplicity and charm, creating an immersive world that is easy to navigate while remaining visually engaging. The audio design in Vairon’s Wrath complements its retro aesthetic perfectly. The soundtrack captures the spirit of classic RPGs, featuring melodic compositions that adapt to different settings and moments in the story. Combat and environmental sound effects provide clear and satisfying feedback, helping to immerse players in the action without overwhelming the senses. While there is no voice acting, the music and sound cues are effective in conveying emotion and tension throughout the game. From a performance standpoint, Vairon’s Wrath runs smoothly on a wide range of systems, making it accessible to players with modest hardware. The controls are responsive, and the interface is intuitive, allowing players to focus on the adventure rather than struggling with cumbersome mechanics. The game also supports controller input, giving players flexibility in how they experience the action. Though the game excels in many areas, some players may find certain combat sequences repetitive, and the pacing can occasionally feel slower than more modern RPGs. However, these minor issues are outweighed by the overall depth and charm of the experience. The combination of exploration, combat, puzzle-solving, and a rich narrative ensures that the game remains engaging from start to finish. In conclusion, Vairon’s Wrath is a compelling indie RPG that pays homage to classic action-adventure games while carving out its own identity. Its blend of challenging combat, thoughtful puzzles, charming retro visuals, and a heartfelt story make it a rewarding experience for fans of the genre. For players seeking a nostalgic yet polished RPG adventure, Vairon’s Wrath offers a captivating journey through a world filled with danger, mystery, and intrigue. Rating: 8/10

It is one of the most interestning rpg-maker games I've recently played. There are some problems like incorrect english translation, simple dialogs, character being too slow, but since it's one of the first games from this author I'm willing to overlook those, because of everything else. This game is action rpg where you get a lot of tools to help you along the way (hook, bombs, bow). Boss Fight's are also a notable thing. Some of the bosses can be killed in interestning way instead of just spamming sword attack (for example you can throw back bombs that boss throws at you). Another thing are achievements. While I had a problem with some and had to ask dev for the tips, I love how clever some of those are. There are some missable ones, but they aren't too far in the story so you can rush to get them. Overall, Its OK for the first game. Just keep in mind that english translation might not be the best at times and dialogs are simplistic, but everything else does it's job really well.
