👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
Follow Third group
English: The V-Art VR Painting Studio from Bolt-Scripts is a small painting program. The program is available for free, so I wasn't expecting much. And unfortunately I didn't get much. The idea is certainly not bad, we have a studio with all sorts of tools, paint mixers and brush makers. We can adjust the size of the canvas. We could really let off steam. If, yes, if it weren't for the clumsy controls. Unfortunately, the program with the index controllers is once again not easy to use. Either we can't grab anything at all or when we finally have a brush, paint can or similar between our fingers, we can't let go of it. This makes adjusting the canvas, for example, a game of chance. I no longer felt like switching to my old Vive controllers. The program, when it is running, seems to focus on watercolor painting. There are several settings that influence the degree of drying and the flow speed. Unfortunately, a good idea fails because of the stumbling controls. 👀Shaky scribbles🎊on my curator page. 👑 Powered by HoI 4 Deu Curators group in German / English 👑⠀⠀⠀

Follow Main group
Follow Second group
Follow Third group
As someone who knows basically nothing about painting, this game is everything you could want out of a VR painting simulator:

Intuitive painting for even a complete beginner
Easy to understand color mixing
An easy-to-use video player for playing Bob Ross videos to follow along to
And a straightforward way to export all the (terrible in my case) art you can make
I Imagine that someone with a bit better understanding of how painting works could get much more out of V-Art as well. I personally used the Vive wands and painting felt very natural, but I imagine it would be even better with more modern VR controllers. For what it's worth, I was slightly involved in the testing of this game and the dev was very responsive and open to discussing feedback. For the low price of Free you have no reason not to give this a shot, so download this right now.
My experience with this game honestly wasn't the best, in retrospect it seems like a good game but the hands are quite buggy and the brushes are a bit hard to hold, there are a lot of bugs in this game and it doesn't seem like they are working on being patched which makes this game not enjoyable because it isn't running smoothly. As far as good aspects go through, the paint blending in this game is really nice and gives you a good sense for creativity and there's also a pretty good span of brushes. But in this case, I just don't think it's a good VR painting game given all of the bugs.
V-Art- VR Painting Studio is a free to play VR painting program. It worked on my Index system, looked ok, played ok, sounded ok. Has a youtube player but you have to have the urls of what you want to watch in clipboard. You can paint art in VR, if you know how to paint in real life. Get your Bob Ross on here. The brush are rather stiff and weird. Maybe try this for free, if you know how to paint or wanting to learn.
Boyama yönünün oldukça havalı olduğunu düşündüm ve onu kendi bağımsız oyun. Hepsi kendi fizik tabanlı davranışlarına sahip birkaç farklı fırçadan oluşan basit, neşeli bir resim simülasyonudur, böylece onlarla gerçekten uğraşabilir ve ne tür harika efektler yaratabileceğinizi görebilirsiniz.
With Arch Linux + Valve Index + Nvidia 2080 + SteamVR 2.8.6 this is an unplayable mess. There are by now established ways of picking up and holding objects in VR - none of them are used here. I eventually figured out a way to pick up the paint bottles by knocking them onto their sides and then moving the hand onto them to *automatically* pick them up. In the process however I knocked the palette onto the floor out of reach of my lighthouses. I don't like to leave negative reviews for free projects, but I think the hand-object interactions need to be reworked from scratch and all the assumptions that have been made about the user's setup overcome. Tactility is the great advantage of VR, but we don't want tactility in picking up the paint bottle - really just in applying the paint to the canvas. The airbrush tools in the VR Home area or Google's Tilt Brush are good ways to do this, but a more authentic paintbrush-experience would be very welcome too. This isn't it - effort has gone into counterproductive areas.
In diesem Fall: Valve Index.
I hate painting in real life and I have very little experience in painting pictures. But I decided to give this free VR game a go, and while I can't paint particularly well, I really enjoy having a go at painting some of my old favourite cartoon characters, trying to match up mixing the colours and getting the right layer build up and correct proportions of the character. It's tough! Especially being a novice. But I'm thoroughly enjoying it. The added bonuses are I can copy url links of my favourite YouTube music videos and play them on a big telly in the background of the studio while I paint my pictures, then I can save my paintings, and clean all the mess a the touch of a button. Brilliant! It would be great to have more brush and tool options, but I really can't complain for a free game. Well done to the developer!
Long time ago i tried it. did not like it. but today wanted to try again, but the game kept starting flat in my Quest 3. it was not flat on PC - so i could not play it on computer. And I could not play it on Quest 3 where it remained flat and unusable. I restarted several times. : no go! big Waist of time. And there was no way to exit the game. I could not even restart the computer. Had to unplug the computer. boo
