Uprising44: The Silent Shadows combines third-person action play with real-time strategy. It is a unique combination of the two modes of play, and has an in-depth and interesting story-line which has not yet been used in WWII computer games – the greatest civilian Uprising against Nazi occupying forces – the Warsaw Uprising.

ik thought this game was made in 06
This game was a great idea on paper, but not in reality. This game should be changed to Early Access. There are levels, that you cannot get past, either due to its glitches or complexity, crashes constantly. Also there is no save/load feature. There is no tutorial, nor is there a list of commands. This game does not have checkpoints, so guess what, if you die, or in RTS battles your squad dies, you lose. I appologize if this review is harsh, however... ... This game is so terrible, it "Makes stupidity look like a bloody science." - Lew Moran from Flight of the Pheonix
I got this game a long time ago and heard a bunch of horror stories about how terrible it was. After completing the game I have to say that it is not as terrible as what people made it seem to be. This game does have bugs and frustrating crashing issues, but for $2 it isn't that bad of an experience. I wouldn't say the game is good or bad, but it is certainly below average.
Pros:
Low price
Interesting story
The mix of RTS sections was neat

Cons:
Crashing (About 5-8 times total)
No checkpoints (So when you die or it crashes you have to start the level all over again.)
There is A LOT of aiming sway and it took awhile to get used to it.
Nearly everything is done with RMB on the RTS sections, which leads to accidental misclicks because the enemy hitboxes are small and their movement is jagged and difficult to predict.
Sometimes the audio cut out completely and wouldn't return until I moved on to the next level.
Level times range from 1-2 minutes to 10-15 minutes with the RTS sections being the longest levels.
The RTS sections are interesting, but your AI will usually miss their shots unless the enemy is 5 feet away.
The enemy AI moves very jaggedly and is difficult to predict.
The aiming of the enemy AI is either non-existent or a laser beam.
A lot of the cover the game gives you to hide behind leaves your neck and up still visible, so you'll still take hits unless you find a tall enough cover.

Conclusion
Overall, I don't think that this game is nearly as bad as people claim it is. For $2, you get a below average WWII experience from the perspective of The Uprising. The controls in the RTS sections were incredibly frustrating at times, but the worst part about the game was the crashing. I probably had to replay about 20-25 minutes because of crashing issues.
Bad.
When this came out suicide rates increased by 75%
I'm gonna be completely honest. There's more dialogue skips on a Bathory Album. I swear there are more bugs in this game than on Klendathu. and the aim is shakier than Greece's GDP.
This game sucks serious ass. Do not buy it.
