Unyielding is a NSFW D&D style adventure game. Catelly lost everything, wakes up in the gutter, and starts to take her life back. There will be lots of heroism, laughter, tears, and sex along the way.

"Came for the tits, stayed for the plot." Easily the best VN/RPG I've ever played, even despite its unfinished state. I have never cared so much about a group of characters in any game, and I say that without a hint of hyperbole. They're all stunningly well written, and beautifully drawn to boot. The worldbuilding, while not quite the textbooks of information that I would like, is good enough that I *want* textbooks of the world, and features some rare themes for the Fantasty RPG genre in general, let alone Adult games. A rarity in this genre, the art style is consistent throughout, with no jarring cuts to a gif of two people ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ or anything of the sort. Combat is based on the Roll20 framework (although it is totally optional).
What you expect from a "NSFW D&D": - lots of interesting quests with choices that matters - lots of lewd CG What you get: - a lot of boring side stories with no choice or a rare choice to do a lewd action or not - a lot of lewd text but with a rare lewd art which quality is slightly worse than usually in game itself Unfortunately, normal quests with fights and lewd art (which is main story and like one side quest) are buried under these "side quests". I see screenshots on the main page where you have a 4-ppl party and you like go on adventure. Well. I've already spent 4h, finished book 3, and you know, I had only few fights and a lot, a lot, A LOT of text stories. If the normal content starts somewhere in "Book 10" or whatever, I won't see it as these side quests just ruined everything. P.S. Speaking about battles, this is a light weight, simplified DnD which is quite sufficient for a lewd story. I played on hard and didn't find it hard, but overall it was well balanced and even interesting
+Reasonably long VN for the money. +Art is decent. +Bad Ends just immediately bring you back to the choice you made, instead of having to reload and do the whole scene over. -Combat feels completely tacked on. -'Adventure Mode' in chapter 4 and 5 feels like it was an experiment for another game entirely. In fact the UI changes almost completely in chapter 5, with two random mini-games tossed in out of nowhere. -A lot lewd scenes have no CG, or even different standing models. Early on it's reasonable, but as your get further into the game there's less and less of it and it makes things rather dull. I'll admit after I while I just starting skipping some of the text walls when it involved less interesting characters. -The final chapter feels incredibly rushed and buggy. There isn't a final combat and many endings don't even get a CG. Would I recommend this? Eh, this is one of those times you wish Steam had a neutral rating or something. It's fine for the cost, but just barely. If you're okay with a game that's 95% text, you'll be fine. But if you thought there was going to be more gameplay you're going to be very disappointed. I'll say Yes, but again it's like a 5/10 Yes.
Unironically this is one of my favourite hentai games. I pirated it at first from an undisclosed location the developer is aware of, and actually started loving the characters so much I went and bought the game. Catelly is cute bro, and it brings more joy than it should to watch her be bullied by her friends. Also it's just genuinely refreshing that losing in combat doesn't lead to you getting nonconned tbh. One thing I will say is that the writing gets better as the game progresses, presumably just because the dev(s) got better at writing over time. And it shows if you stick with it. Also one story arc that didn't even involve hentai was just unironically really well written. Good game fellas
This writing and character lineup seems like it's straight out of someone's ERP discord server or forum role-playing group. It's not very good and it's mostly just horny and cringe-inducing. The artist seems to think breasts sprout out of the middle of the top of a woman's chest and grow out diagonally away from each other. Overall the sexy parts weren't sexy. The game parts weren't fun. The story wasn't well-written. Sorry.
Fun game, compelling story, great battle system, and the cherry on top is the fantastic developer. Highly recommend, 100% worth the money. Bugs get fixed quickly, when discovered/reported, and new content added regularly. The developer is extremely active, transparent, and communicates with the community. And it's packed full of thicc anime girls. 👍
10/10 on current content. The only thing holding it back is that it isn't finished yet. Nice overall story, very hot scenarios, and the art is both cute and sexy at the same time, which is perfect for the tone of the game. The powerful thing about the sex scenes in this game is that the author understands the importance of setting up the circumstances and using dialogue rather than merely mashing body parts into each other. If you are into the MtF gender TF genre then this is a must play. Although, this game makes the cardinal sin of placing the gender transformation before the start of the story, there is actually a strong plot reason for doing it that way. The player character (Catelly) is a high functioning individual who suffers from a curse that gives her powerful urges to become a huge slut in certain types of scenarios. This dynamic allows the duality of her urges throughout the game to make sense as Catelly showcases a large amount of agency, yet often falls victim to her submissive sexual cravings. There is a heavy emphasis on sub/dom themes throughout the game. I played about 24 hours before I got to the end of current content, although, I was in no rush and replayed some parts many times along the way.
If this game looks at all interesting to you I'd definitely recommend it. So long as you don't mind the minor typos and occasional harmless bug that comes with being in early access the game is more than worth the ten dollar price tag in it's current state, and it's only going to improve as more content is added to it over time. The writing is genuinely good, has a surprising amount of world building to back up the setting, and the optional turn-based combat helps add some variety to the game if you're interested in it.
Good game with lots of D&D callbacks. My only issue as of now is that event cutscenes take up maybe 1/6th of my monitor, and that is a crime given how enjoyable the art is. I would appreciate it highly if the developer could correct this! e: I am roughly 9 hours into the game now, nearing the end of "Book 2." I'm still highly enjoying the story, especially the more serious parts. My only qualm as of now is the occasional grammatical error that appears. Simple things, like "it's" instead of "its," that sort of thing. Small, but big enough to draw me out of my focus. Having proper proofreading for the game would be appreciated. I do not want this to come off as crass- I am highly enjoying the rest of the story as it comes. I'm one of those grammar police that is instantly jolted by the wrong use of apostrophes. My read-out may be unreasonable to many people, but I still think it's essential to state. The amount of detail to scenes is astounding and appreciated. The characters definitely have personality. Even one of the more abrasive characters is growing on me as I play, thanks to the narrative's focus. Growth is shown and characters feel alive. Good stuff.
Less than an hour into the game and I’m sold!! The developer has made it so that you can turn elements on and off as you choose, which takes the “choose your own adventure” theme to a whole new level. I personally really enjoy the combat in the game, it adds a different tone to all of the other exciting elements 🤤 It’s actually quite amazing how the game continually keeps your heart racing. I’m still early on in the game but can’t wait to continue the adventure and discover what’s in store for sweet Catelly.
