About
Set off on an amazing journey through Unknown Fate, a strongly story-driven first-person adventure with many puzzles to solve and enemies to beat. Become Richard, who suddenly passes seamlessly from the real world into a surreal universe. You’ll encounter strange characters, unfamiliar artifacts and scenes resembling Richard’s former life, of which he has lost all memory. Yet, he knows that this is not where he is supposed to be. The world he has come to inhabit is strange and distant. He feels the urge to find out more about this surreal universe and the creatures inhabiting it, in order to find a way out – out and back to his real self, his real life that he knows he has yet to fully recall.
Engulfed in mystery, you take cautious steps deep into the unknown, only to have your mind swept away by yet more questions, nibbling at your grasp of what you think is real and true – your certainties will start to crumble.
With no way back and a strong urge for answers beating in your temples, you push on, striving to get a grip on the odd difficulties surrounding you, eagerly awaiting the moment your mind will become untangled when the thread of your journey finally unravels all the way. But there is some way yet to go…

I got this game after trying out another Indie game, Photonic Distress. I really wish I could set a score to the game here on steam instead of just recommending/not recommending... There are several things I found really nicely done in the game, but I had some major issues which made the game unplayable to me which is why I chose "not recommend". Pros: It really feels like a lot of effort was made to develop the game, the intro was absolutely fantastic and overall I think the visuals are pretty great. Sometimes the voice acting is great, other times it's mostly cringy. The game seems to have a lot of potential to become a pleasant experience. Cons: It's not possible to use keyboard and mouse. When I tried it made the camera static and thus it was impossible to play the game. When I played using a controller (XBox) I instead had the issue that my character just kept on walking without my interference which was extremely annoying. The combat system is honestly really clunky and boring in the few fighting sequences I experienced. These things really made me not want to play any further and I hope the issues are patched up in the future so that new players won't experience these things.

(VR на Vive) Строго говоря, разработчики не обеспечили возможность играть. Не работает взаимодействие, как я поняла, на центр тачпада, приходится вызывать меню игры и убирать, держа Grip на объекте, тогда срабатывает. Перемещение телепортацией, и тоже глючит. Озвучка (eng) тихая, женский голос откровенно не актерский. Тем не менее рука не поднялась поставить отрицательный отзыв, потому что это мой любимый жанр - интерактивная история в странном мире. С волнующей музыкой. Где тебя ведут по сюжету, а ты по пути все рассматриваешь. Самое главное, это конечно визуальный стиль, он мне очень понравился. Ощущение странного сна. Два мира, один пугающий, из второго хочется сразу убежать :) Прошла до конца. И скидка была очень хорошая, так что довольна.

Не работает в vr.На htc vive нажимается только new game.Язык не меняется,контроллеры вообще ни на что не реагируют кроме new game.Ну их в баню этих криворуких 1с ,возврат.
das Spiel an sich finde ich sehr gut, nur die Tastaturbelegung für mich als Linkshänder ist ein Alptraum, wer leiht mir eine 3. Hand zum spielen? ich wünsche mir die Tastatur selbst belegen zu dürfen, sonst ein schönes Spiel. I find the game itself very good, only the keyboard layout for me as a left-hander is a nightmare, who lends me a 3rd hand to play? I wish I could assign the keyboard myself, otherwise a nice game
Honestly didnt know what to expect playing this but i was supprised how polished the graphics and flow of the game was. The voice acting was above average and the graphics were smooth, however when i got to close to objects i often had a lot of texture clipping. Puzzles were interesting but could have been much more complex as after doing the first few, it never felt really challenging. However the length of the game supprised me and i do plan to continue playing it.
