Unknightly

I would love to recommend it, as it seems to be everything I could want out of a VR version of Thief: The Dark Project, which is one of my favorite games of all time... Unfortunately, despite being released 5 years ago, it only has about 3 hours of content, and it seems to be completely abandoned. It appears no one has heard from the dev in over a year. Worth trying out if you're curious, but I can't recommend paying for it in its current state, as it's more like a demo than a full game.

Es beinhaltet alle nötigen Eigenschafen eines Schleichspiels. Im Schatten sind wir für die Gegner komplett unsichtbar, im Licht werden wir direkt gesehen. Gehen wir zu schnell durch die alten Gemäuer, hören uns die Wachen und kommen auf die Geräuschquelle zu. Wir können die Wachen ablenken, in dem wir Gegenstände werfen oder uns aus unser Ausrüstung bedienen. Es gibt z.B. Wasserpfeile, die die Umgebung noch dunkler machen, indem wir mit ihrer Hilfe Fackeln löschen können. Neben dem Bogen und seinen drei unterschiedlichen Pfeilen gibt es noch ein Handgelenksmesser, das sehr praktisch im Nahkampf ist. Schlüssel z.B. bekommen wir nur, wenn wir ihn vom Gürtel ahnungsloser Wachen mopsen, natürlich können wir den Gegner auch ausschalten und dann ausrauben. Erledigte Feinde, können wir uns außerdem im Schatten entledigen, sodass sie nicht gesehen werden. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3133869084 Die Steuerung der Waffen funktioniert sehr gut und macht Spaß. Die Bewegung hakt hier und da leider etwas und das Klettern auf Dächer, Wände oder ähnliches ohne Leiter ist nicht immer von Erfolg gekrönt. Die Grafik ist in Ordnung, wenn es auch stellenweise zu Dunkel ist und die Handmodelle zu groß erscheinen und es keine richtige Greifanimation gibt, die Gegenstände schweben einfach an der Hand. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3133868573 Da hört sich alles noch in Ordnung an, leider hat das Spiel nur vier Level und ist somit ziemlich kurz. A medieval sneaking game. Beware, another dead game. No further content has been added since 2021, despite Early Access. In Unknightly, we are a member of a knightly order that has been betrayed and we naturally want to find out the truth... The game works pretty well as it is now. It contains all the necessary characteristics of a stealth game. In the shadows we are completely invisible to the enemy, in the light we are seen directly. If we walk too fast through the old walls, the guards hear us and approach the source of the noise. We can distract the guards by throwing objects or using our equipment. There are water arrows, for example, which make the surroundings even darker by allowing us to extinguish torches. In addition to the bow and its three different arrows, there is also a wrist knife, which is very practical in close combat. We can only get keys, for example, by stealing them from the belts of unsuspecting guards, and of course we can also eliminate the enemy and then rob them. We can also dispose of slain enemies in the shadows so that they cannot be seen. The weapon controls work very well and are fun to use. Unfortunately, the movement is a little awkward here and there and climbing onto roofs, walls or similar without a ladder is not always successful. The graphics are okay, even if it is too dark in places and the hand models appear too large and there is no real grabbing animation, the objects simply float on the hand. Everything still sounds okay, unfortunately the game only has four levels and is therefore quite short. No updates since 2021. Maybe okay in the sale. I wouldn't pay the full price for a seemingly dead game. Therefore thumbs down here and an informative one in the short review. Dead game. Seemingly abandoned game. Do not buy.

Yet another abandoned Early Access game.

Another game in Early Access limbo/hell. Released in 2017 and I last played almost 2 years ago when I bought it. I checked again today (Feb 2023) to see if anything changed, nothing. It's a shell of a game, there is insultingly little content for the asking price. The content that's there seems like a half baked idea. I got it on sale and I don't feel like it was worth it. It also takes just over 2 hours to complete the content if you take stealth seriously, which seem kinda sus to me.

I fear this game is dead :'(

What's here ain't bad, but it isn't a full game's worth, and sadly it seems the dev is long gone.

Early Access Game 4 ever. dead game

feels kind of unpolished; just not really for me. maybe in 2017, but it just doesnt really hold up with some of the stuff we have today

Nah man, this game is roblox quality, nothing worked right, and anything cool was stolen from thief or assassin's creed. You can't honestly stay immersed for more then 2 minutes. Absolutely awful and a huge disappointment, because this could have been amazing.
