The Prologue of the Union of Gnomes awaits your daring and brave gaze. Twisted and broken, it stands — a reflection of what was never meant to be. The threads of destiny fray, and reality splinters like a shattered mirror.

Wow. Great start. This could be a gem. TLDR: Depends how much depth the final game has. PROs: Epic settings & graphics style. Seriously whoever the artist is should get at least half the profits from this game. Incredible art hands down. Sound is decent. Controls work well. Tactics seems fairly fun and unique. I assume it will be replayable too since the stage's layout changes each time you enter. CONs: Sometimes the wording on cards makes in very confusing which character the card will target. Should be an easy fix. The Pigeon Monster. Worst part of the game by far. Its, just... not... fun. Boring as all heck to fight a dinky monster that can summon two of its friends every single round so you can barely ever get a chance to take a swipe at the final pigeon and end the fight. On top of creating endless clones, it heals itself. So you can spend twenty minutes carefully dispensing endless pigeons just in order to lower the final pigeons life close enough you may win, then round 80 it decides to heal itself full life and you get to start over. Absolutely broken mechanic. I'm sure there are very specific builds that can help you counter this endless spawn / heal combo, but honestly it feels like you shouldn't be forced into one team composition to address one specific monster type. I typically enjoy having to adjust my tactics for different maps / situations. Thinking and changing strategy is fun. The pigeon monster is not. Its tedious and annoying. You are basically just waiting on the luck of RNG. Silly. Okay that being said, as long as this gets properly game tested to avoid frustrating battles that never end, I think this game is going good places.

I will leave the cat here, so that everybody who passes by can pet it and give it a thumbs up.
Feels like walking into a minefield of bad choices with little to know ability to learn without grind. Lots of weird cards that seemingly have negatives or positives. Slow mana regen (one per turn only), some food based mechanic in which if you run out you lose cards every overworld turn, and a bunch of other really odd stuff. This is a very masochistic game. I am not the biggest fan of the art style, either, but that's subjective. I play a lot of these, but out the gate, it felt pretty RNG dependent more than other deckbuilders, as well. Maybe more control opens up. Leveling up your character seems neat, but that's just another way for a player to screw themselves over (you have to farm reset resources instead of it just being free... feels dumb when resetting your deck is free!). Also, weird visual effects that cannot be disabled. Don't like those. The humor of the game I also didn't care. Lots of pointless dialog and "quest events" where you play a Choose Your Own Adventure style thing for random outcomes. Unlike StS, these can be long, even full "runs" are just those type. Don't like that, as well. There's nothing functionally wrong that I can tell, just a lot of design choices that I disagree with or do not find fun.

This is a good interesting Slay the Spire inspired game. I like the level up system. One thing I found out which is minor, On the Thief card, it says "buggs" which I think you meant "buffs". It's confusing and I thought there was an effect called "buggs" in the game (seriously). Would be nice if you change this.
