About
The year is 2018, you are trapped in a single-bedroom apartment somewhere in an undisclosed Nordic welfare state. Your objective is to survive in the mind-numbing loop of long-term unemployment and social isolation.
Survival
You have stats to manage: the physiological needs of the body, and your mental health. Maintain high dopamine levels to avoid a literal death by boredom. Eat, drink (responsibly), use the toilet, wash yourself, hide from responsibilities, and keep yourself sufficiently entertained. Just stay alive, ok? Survive the week. It'll get better.
Story-driven
Advance through your personal story. You survived the day? Then you can go to sleep. Something's calling you. You’ll find an escape in your dreams. It’s when you sleep that you are most alive. In fact, you can be anything in your dreams. A salaryman. A husband. A hero!
Until the alarm goes off again.

Honestly, was fun for a few minutes until I got to the weekend. I don't care for unskippable in-game mini-game requirements to complete the day. It should be a fun aspect of play, not a mandatory scoring system. Also, there just wasn't enough interaction with things--even an unemployed person could go out and take a walk or have something other than microwave food or chips.
I think 10 dollars is too much for this game. The story is mostly surrealistic rather than an exploration of the psychology of being long-term unemployed that I was expecting from the Story Rich tag and the ending sucks. It got a few wry smiles out of me and the pixel art is very nice. Maybe worth picking up on sale if you're curious.
Absolutely brilliant. Not what i expected going in, but in the best way possible. Threw some major curveballs at me, storywise. Probably hits harder if you've ever dealt with depression and feeling useless.
"when pigs fly" well, I'll be damned!
A truly cinematic game, had me guessing what was coming next! can't recommend this enough.
despues de estar 1 año entero desempleado buscando trabajo me siento conectado con este juego
Something about the game looked appealing, in a light maybe funny kinda way. And It was a good pick, I thought "Eh, maybe on sale" and ignored it. Admittedly I bought it drunk recently to 'celebrate' my cousin's recent decision to quit his job, I bought it for both of us. So when he went to bed drunk the next night early I thought 'Why not?'. The music is very well done. Bravo for that alone, it kept my head there the whole time. I appreciate good sound choices. The art and lightly changing scenery was also pleasant (and that's saying something considering the size of the playable area). But it's unique flavor of the game that I appreciated most. I'm content to have done this late at night while drinking and taken 2 days to do it. It is a great "I really should be going to bed" game. I'm gonna grab the rest of the achievements before I shelve it. But It was a reflection of what little gem games can be to the right person.
Well made rogue like visual novel that can be very depressing and hard to play sometimes. There are some timing elements with the puzzles, but the game just restarts from the previous day when you "die" of boredom or from slipping on trash in your filthy apartment and you can try again.
