Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0/day in the week to Aug 25 → 0.43/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About
The year is 2018, you are trapped in a single-bedroom apartment somewhere in an undisclosed Nordic welfare state. Your objective is to survive in the mind-numbing loop of long-term unemployment and social isolation.
Survival
You have stats to manage: the physiological needs of the body, and your mental health. Maintain high dopamine levels to avoid a literal death by boredom. Eat, drink (responsibly), use the toilet, wash yourself, hide from responsibilities, and keep yourself sufficiently entertained. Just stay alive, ok? Survive the week. It'll get better.
Story-driven
Advance through your personal story. You survived the day? Then you can go to sleep. Something's calling you. You’ll find an escape in your dreams. It’s when you sleep that you are most alive. In fact, you can be anything in your dreams. A salaryman. A husband. A hero!
Until the alarm goes off again.

I think 10 dollars is too much for this game. The story is mostly surrealistic rather than an exploration of the psychology of being long-term unemployed that I was expecting from the Story Rich tag and the ending sucks. It got a few wry smiles out of me and the pixel art is very nice. Maybe worth picking up on sale if you're curious.
Absolutely brilliant. Not what i expected going in, but in the best way possible. Threw some major curveballs at me, storywise. Probably hits harder if you've ever dealt with depression and feeling useless.

"when pigs fly" well, I'll be damned!
A strange and amusing game. It really is an accurate simulation so my recommendation is to take it slowly and play maybe 30 minutes a day. Otherwise it may get too... well, boring. Some nitpicks: The retro graphics are nice but I thought the modern looking fonts here and there did not fit in the retro theme. Also there are some graphics bugs here and there. The control scheme was a bit confusing. Anyway, I enjoyed it.
This game depicts the average day of being unemployed in Finland. The ending was so random and questions were left unanswered. The game is a bit repetitive but hey, it's a game depicting unemployment and unemployment is naturally repetitive. The game is "based on real events". I hope the developer of the game is doing better now.

Something about the game looked appealing, in a light maybe funny kinda way. And It was a good pick, I thought "Eh, maybe on sale" and ignored it. Admittedly I bought it drunk recently to 'celebrate' my cousin's recent decision to quit his job, I bought it for both of us. So when he went to bed drunk the next night early I thought 'Why not?'. The music is very well done. Bravo for that alone, it kept my head there the whole time. I appreciate good sound choices. The art and lightly changing scenery was also pleasant (and that's saying something considering the size of the playable area). But it's unique flavor of the game that I appreciated most. I'm content to have done this late at night while drinking and taken 2 days to do it. It is a great "I really should be going to bed" game. I'm gonna grab the rest of the achievements before I shelve it. But It was a reflection of what little gem games can be to the right person.
Relatable game for a dopamine addict like me. Even the psychiatric stuff. Is an interesting game with nice pixel art. The crying part is the best. A little bit repetitive sometimes... If you send the same email over and over i can tell you that you will never get the job.
Great game, unique mechanics and unpredictable story!
