I was expecting [spoiler]the critique of modern "self-help/self-improvement" apps (the story)[/spoiler], but "played" the game (followed the AI's instructions) sincerely, and dang... I think the deep breathing exercises really improved my mental health. Cool experience.

Jacob Geller sent me. I was expecting a critique on the self-care industry and toxic productivity (and it does deliver that critique very thoughtfully) but I was happily surprised when I actually felt better after playing this. On multiple days, the journaling actually moved me to tears. I'd really recommend playing this for a very rich experience.

I also got this because it was recommended by Jacob Geller and I thoroughly enjoyed the expierence. I care a lot about KARE now. After finishing the story yesterday, I checked in today again and I love the aspects that remain.

I found this game from the Jacob Geller video and I'm very glad that I ended up checking it out. It's a really unique merging of video game storytelling with the structure of a mindfulness app, and I found that while I was very into the story that was unfolding day-by-day, I was also kinda getting into the actual breathing exercises and writing prompts, which is something I wasn't expecting. I can say with confidence that this wasn't enough to get me to look into other mindfulness apps as I'm still skeptical of the institution as a whole, but I will say that this small, self-contained glimpse into that world through the perspective of what may be its most idealized, self-aware version definitely got me thinking about what it would look like if AI-driven, computerized therapy was capable of actually caring, which is an interesting thought experiment. In short, a brief and very unique, thought-provoking game.

Quite an unique experience. Who would have though an AI could life lessons to a human?

this app helped me improve my productivity because therefore giving me value as a human! I was able to more efficiently justify my existence to business overlords and myself using the MOTIVATION from this app!!! I love capitalism!!!!

Nice little game! Imagery through the latter half of the game still sticks with me. The pain and heartbreak and bittersweet joy of being. Don't expect earthshaking narrative, but it's quite nice!
