Very original indie game. The controls take a bit of getting used to and as I'm not very at platformers I find them harder to master than most will, I expect. Good atmosphere and nice pixel graphics. Worth checking out.
I first fell in love with the art. It reminded me of a 2D side scrolling Shadow of the Colossus. Not a bad game to be reminded of. After looking more into it the story also seemed interesting...playing as a giant destroyer of the human race and not the savior felt refreshing. When I got to the mechanics is where I was most surprised. This game, to me, is a tad reminiscent of simulation games. By that I mean how you have to hit a series of multiple keys to get the character to do anything and when they do it comes out odd. Even though I am not a huge fan of those types of simulation games I found is a 2D puzzle platforming setting to be very interesting. From the start I was terrible, moving in the wrong directions, moving the wrong arms, that sort of thing. And with all that it was fun...and when I started getting the hang of it the game got more fun! I also like that the game doesn't hold your hand and tell you exactly how to do everything. I got stuck on some of the puzzles...not that they were hard to figure out, just hard to perform due to the controls. Once I solved it I felt genuinely excited to move on to the next one. I look forward to playing more of this. After spending more time with it I might not feel as excited but only time will tell. NOTE: This is my first game on Steam but I am by no means new to games. I have been playing games since the 80's and have played some of the most rare/obscure to the most mainstream games on a huge variety of systems. Also for the sake of transparency I did create the illustrated artwork for the Steam capsules but had no role in the making of this game and have no stake in its success. I review games on a regular basis and this is my honest take on the game thus far.
...sorry that I cannot control it...............
This looks like a game from 90s. It has a lot of potential but also a lot of game design flaws.
bad controls, pretty buggy and weapons often ended up behind me ensuring my death
Would it kill any one to make somesort of a guide on how to bloody play this garbage?
