UnDuster

I played this game a lot more on a friend's account, and I'm not too much of a gamer myself now lol (due to college), but if you like high skill platformers a lot (think uhhhh like games that require a lot of precise button presses at specific instances to make a jump) then you would enjoy this game a lot! Very unique concept and a rather interesting twist on traditional platforming games that require hand-eye coordination and understanding of the fundamental mechanics

Good Game

A well-made Celeste-like that is absolutely worth the price tag. Great ambiance throughout, and the platforming feels really good with keyboard and mouse. My only real complaint is the gamepad controls. If you move and aim with the same joystick, you'll often have to aim behind you to blow and propel yourself, then switch to aiming forward so as not to lose your momentum. It can be frustratingly tricky, making some challenges feel substantially harder than they should. I know the game comes with a big "UnDuster is best played with a mouse and keyboard" notice when you launch, but I still vastly prefer to play platformers with a controller, and the game otherwise works well on the Steam Deck. I very strongly believe there should be an option that lets you invert your joystick controls while blowing, which would solve the problem entirely. Otherwise the Deck is perfect for suckin dust.

This game is like Celeste and Germinal (which are two of my all-time favorite precision platformers!). I really do wish that more games like this will be developed because I think this is a very fun video game genre (at least for me). Gameplay: 10/10 Music: 10/10 Sound effects + voice acting: 10/10 Art: 10/10

Game of the year

Has some really cool ideas but is heavily bogged down by some janky controls and strange design choices (The breakable dirt pillars in particular blend in with the background). Its worth the price, and is definitely worth a playthrough, but expect some minor frustration.
