The game is fun but it has some absolute stinkers (I've only played career mode, no online games) 1) it makes absolutely no sense to me at all that your perks are locked to your trainer, it's an offline game and it's not fun to play until the endgame to get the perks i want. 2) Stamina system in this game is a myth. If i have worked my opponent's body and drained him so that his stamina is at 20% while mine is 50% or more, how am i doing combinations to the head and body where i land 3-5 punches in a row that doesn't drop him, it seems like there is a damage multiplier that's resetted if you switch from hitting head to body, so punching head / body / head / Body just counts as 2 punches to the body and two to the head with no damage multiplier and you end up gassing your self out.. This aspect is extremely unrealistic that you can't finish off your opponent in any other way than spamming head punches or counters to get the final blow. 3) Training up your stats is kind of slow, Getting the right combination of Speed, power and stamina to really feel like you're a boxer that's not just gassing out with zero ability to really hurt your opponent takes a bit too long... Again, the game rewards counter-punching way too much for my liking, you end up needing to hunt for counters regardless of how you want to play the game. (In short, trying to play the game realistically punishes you, but waiting out for a counter-punch where it should be, i agree with how powerful they are, but hitting a 4-5 punch combination where you combine head and body punches should be at least just as strong) 4) Body punches are awfully useless for anything else than draining stamina off your opponent, Unless you have Body worker and Liver destroyer, it makes no sense going for body punches, and unlike punches to the head that gives cuts and swelling, you will not debuff your opponent in any way by attacking the body and since stamina is capped and never goes under 20%.. If this game made combinations as strong as counters (As they should be) and added some debuffs to body punches that made the body punches do gradually more and more damage (As they should do) you'd have a real masterpiece.. Overall i enjoy this game a lot and had a lot of fun over the past few days finding what kind of fighting style i enjoyed the most.
