Reviews
This game is fun, hypnotic, and addicting. You control a peasant living in a village and have to survive the day-to-day life at a time that was hard to survive. I particularly love the fact that the "hunger" stat is not hunger per se, it is, actually, "taste", so, how delicious is the food you ingest each month, it is refreshing and feels real, I'm not filling the "hunger" meter, I'm satisfying my need for delicious food, don't believe that you will survive for long without any food tho, if you run out of food you will die, but remember that you can get the food from the woods, not only the fields. So, people, get this game, it is amazing, you will love it!
i'm back like a year or two later. this game still crashes instead of auto saving. the game isn't so fun that i would replay 5 minutes it over and over again.
This should be in early access. It's not ready.
Idea is great. Overall, experience is also great. Too bad that bigger studios do not see the potential of games like this being developed as larger projects. Had great time playing this and Saelig. I recommend it!
Really liking this so far as it is one of my favorite time periods in history. A few bugs but no show stoppers. Can't wait for the developers to add more content, events, etc.
The bugs after I had farm animals and kids working the farm were really annoying. I love the premise for the game, and the comprehensive tutorial on the community page was good too.
Fun
The game went through mayor update (so check the news about update to see the changes). My achievement so far: food is bland, characters overworked and unsatisfied. The game is good and developer worth supporting.
Incredible concept and excited to see more to come. Lots of potential for future updates and QoL polish. Small issues with the menus and HUD lay out can make navigating and keeping track difficult at times. Personally I'm not a fan of over micromanagement but this game seems to have the right level most of the time. A bit more player guidance through progress would be a great help.
