UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes

The last great anime fighter with tons of distinct characters that are all fun to play. The unique GRD system is a refreshing way to incentivize offense without the braindead overpowered design of most modern fighters, while the resources for training and easing new players into the game are second to none. The online is mostly fine now, at least it has been for me, as UNI2 finally offers decent rollback. It also offers tons of character colors and other customizable unlockables, that are all free, with this version even adding a palette creator; all things you will not find in most modern fighters. UNI2 is a definite recommendation for anyone that is looking for a fighting game with tons of depth that still focuses on character strengths over universal system mechanics.

Fun game

i'm sure the game is great, and i'm sure i'll be dedicating a bit of my time into it since i've been looking for a new fighting game to delve into, but most of the enjoyment i'm getting out of it right now is listening to the music tabbed out while i'm doing other stuff

Very fun fighting game. Unfortunately the game doesn't have a very active online scene. You'll need friends or a discord to play this with other people.

The best fighting game of the 2020s, no contest. French Bread's always had a knack for making games that are really simple to pick up and play while also having a skill ceiling that seemingly never ends. UNI2 is no exception. One of the coolest fighters money can buy in terms of character variety, system mechanics and skill expression. It's somewhat of a discord fighter, but my experiences with the Fpan community have been nothing but positive and I want to keep seeing it get the love it deserves.

Decent game with the matchmaking making it unplayable, if you arent deadset on spending hours on end learning one combo you will repeat forever and just want to hop in, learn the moves and start playing you will be met with day 1 survivors who sweat thier nuts off of someone who just got the game
