Uncrewed is a real-time strategy game with the ability to design units from scratch. Unlike in more traditional RTS, units obey the laws of physics, making design choices especially important.

Shame to come back and see that this is abandoned under the guise of "full release". Its very cool and you should try it if you have the spare money, not too pricey at least... but im leaving negative because the devs should not have left it and need to know that what they did is wrong... but like it prob doesnt matter cuz they asses are long gone. Don't think they are making anything else(or definitely not coming back lol), at least under the "quite different mechanics" name. Can we get some legit no ♥♥♥♥♥♥ business practices these day or what?! Don't make a game if you can't support it bruh, mfs needa stop relying so much on the early access model so damn much(oops a little ranting came out lmao)
It's an alright game. If your favorite genres are RTS games and building sandboxes, you may have fun here. The game went on a very long hiatus during the pandemic, but recently received an update.
As you probably know by now, this is an RTS where you build the units. The building system is fairly intuitive and easy to use. Just make sure the robot has a computer, a battery, and three or four wheels/tracks, and make sure that it is rotated in the direction of the conveyor. What I find fascinating in this game is the atmosphere. It's very charming and quiet. The setting feels like a relaxing post-apocalyptic world of sort. When you click on units, they make sounds a bit like R2-D2. This makes the game peaceful and intriguing, despite the frequent gunfights between units of different factions. Also, for an indie game, it is very smooth. RTS is a genre known to be difficult to make, but this game works 100%. The physics, the unit selection, the performance, the general game design, everything works as it should, it doesn't feel amateurish, except maybe the difficulty in some parts. I don't understand how such a nicely rounded game can have "mixed reviews". Recently a sequel was announced, and I can't wait to see how it will turn out.
se crashea a cada rato y los controles son bastante horribles y está muy caro para el tipo de juego que es.
It's a very fun RTS and sandbox game, I like you can build your own units and have them fight.
It's back!
Good game, I'm just too dumb to play.
The ending of campaign is quite interesting. The appearance of parts are too ugly and naive.
Never quite developed into something good
So yeah, I like this. It's a bit clunky, but my experience has been overall pretty good. 7/10. The good: - Premise. It's all about making your own goofy war bots and pitting them against other goofy war bots in an RTS Environment. More complex bots take longer to build and cost more. More powerful weapons are locked behind specific things you need to invest in around your base. - Gameplay. As said before, it's good, silly fun at the end of the day. You can play it like a sweaty tryhard, but if you are, you're doing it wrong. At least, as far as I'm concerned, you are. It's less about balance, so much as it is screwing around in a designer, before taking your creations to battle against the AI. Though, it does make a concerted attempt at balance. - Sandbox mode. The bread and butter of the game, it lets you make pretty much anything you can come up with, within certain limitations. The workshop has a lot of prime examples of the cool and creative stuff people have made in this game. That said, it does take some getting used to, and isn't the most intuitive at times, but is overall a solid designer. - Tutorial/Campaign. It has one; it's kind of restrictive, but it works and gives you a pretty good grasp of how the game works. - Level Editor. It has one that works pretty well but takes a bit of getting used to. The Bad: - Optimization. It's pretty poorly optimized, and even on low settings, my computer (which, admittedly isn't amazing), still only pulls through about 40-50 FPS. - UI Scaling. The UI is quite small, making it a little bit awkward on a larger monitor. Wouldn't be an issue if there was a UI Scaling slider in the options menu, though, as it does a good enough job of keeping you informed. It's just small for me. - Sound Design. It claims to have music, but what they call "music" is really little more than a few glorified sound effects that aren't even all that musical. You'll hear the same 30-ish odd sound effects a LOT, with no pitch variation or other modulation to go with it. - Infrequent updates. This one can be a big downside for certain people, but just as a warning to prospective buyers... There have been two updates in the last month (as of the time of writing this, April 11th 2023), but prior to that, the most recent update was in March of 2020, when they pulled it out of early access. TL;DR: It's fun and enjoyable, so long as you keep your expectations in check. It still feels like an early access game to a certain degree, but for $12, it's really not a bad pick-me-up. Maybe wait for a sale if you're on the fence. But I would personally recommend it.
