An extraordinary, impressive game that feels like something new, fresh, and absolutely worth experiencing. It’s a user-hostile game, but in the best possible sense of the word. It dazzles you with incredible, colorful, creative visuals, strange buildings, surreal locations, and a bizarre world. The bass is pounding through the speakers, everything is fast-paced and encourages you to keep moving. The controls and parkour are unpleasant, the shooting is unique and a little clunky, but somehow it all fits together. It’s Cruelty Squad-level unpleasantness, where learning to master the game’s flawed strengths is the key to winning. Goblin America strongly resembles Cruelty Squad in terms of its visuals, hostile controls, and deliberately unpleasant gameplay, but it has much more enjoyable—and genuinely listenable—music, as well as a completely different idea of what it wants to be. The only real similarity in gameplay is assassination as the main objective. Goblin America, however, takes a completely different approach to exploration, hiding numerous miniature levels within its stages, with winding corridors leading back to places you’ve already visited. It’s one giant playground inviting you to explore and discover. A wonderful game, even if it can quickly become overstimulating. It knows exactly what it is: something furiously different, absurd, surreal, new, fresh, and absolutely worth experiencing.

I think the gameplay feels solid and more fun than Cruelty Squad but the early access still feels quite demo sized especially for it's price.

dev seems to be very very passionate abt this game so i will look fondly towards the future, for now though i will leave it as is. my fps ranges from like 20-60 on any given level, graphics on all lows & below 1080p. game sure doesnt mind indulging itself in my entire cpu either. the tech mechanics r poor iterations of their predecessors in a kinda charming kinda not charming way, cant tell whether its just meant to be bad in a post-post-irony sort of sense or not. i dont like the really big levels just in general, although thats probably mostly due to the visibility of running low res. only played to like the 5th level cus the 5th one ran at like 15 fps.

Wonderfully weird and surprisingly expansive game for only having four levels right now. One to follow for sure, but still plenty of fun in its current state.
