Even though I got bored of this game quite quickly, it is a good game within its genre. If you enjoy endless wave games, this might be a good one for you.
great retro pew pew aesthetic with decent bunch of upgrades, but has poor clarity and legibility of threats during fights.. there's perhaps too much neon stuff flying around to understand whats what..

Had to refund, due to a hand injury I'm incapable of playing anything using mouse\kb. Unfortunately despite it saying it's controller compatible and that my controller should work fine (Steam controller) I couldn't get it to work at all, and learned only after that it requires a wired Xbox 360 controller and a series of hoops to get that to even work.
It was ok...i don't quite like the graphics. It's kinda hard to see where you are, where the enemy bullets are, and most of the time, you're going to take damage without noticing. The aiming is also very odd, even if you're already pointing at the enemy, you can still miss your target. The gameplay is the same, with same Passives skill tree to choose from. But overall... i would give it a 5/10 You can skip this if you don't like the graphics/ gameplay, and you're not going to miss out much.
Half the times I was hit or died were solely the cause of enemy attack colors blending in, appearing out of thin air, or just being choppier than any other title from Puppygames. The strobing effect can be disabled, but the base graphics are no less spasmatistic and eye-burning.
In order to avenge the human race, you have to twiddle your thumbs through forty enemy filled levels with each ten levels presenting a different colour palette and a boss to overcome. The old school arcade visual with a 21st Century twist unfortunately create an artificial difficulty as the enemies become frustratingly difficult to see through the weapons fire of your battle droid, your droid companions and unnecessary screen effects. The concept of babysitting a bunch of droids to “HELP” you fight off the waves of enemies is entertaining at first but you will soon want to submerge these useless tagalongs in a bath full of salt water. Despite a charm that makes you want to look past Ultratron’s flaws, after losing your shields countless times running into enemies you can’t see, the human race is best left unavenged.
