Full Disclosure: Got a free key from Reddit, likely the dev wanting people to try out the game. It Initially will strike as a simple game, however there is a bit of complexity to it. The playstyle is a mashup of and idle-2D fighter, except your character is stationary and you input skills. RPG style character development (stats, skills, equipment) AS I got the game for free, the first thing I did was check how much they were asking for it. $3. So I didn't expect much. I've paid the same amount and got unplayable seizure simulators. But this one is a bit of a gem. It's fast paced and addictive. You feel the drive to run that boss one more time to get better gear. And getting useless gear isn't useless either, as you sell those for fusion levels which reward with more skill points, stat points, and higher tier loot. I was also expecting to be short, but there several different zones to work up to, several, and I mean several, bosses to defeat of varying difficulty. The music isn't bad at all. There are a couple of cons though. There is some kind of film grain that appears. I'm not sure if it's by design, but I though might GPU took a dump on me, so that was a little alarming. I've played five hours so far, and was impressed that I hadn't encountered any bugs. Until I did. If you do a few time travels to unlock a revive ability (if you die, you have chance to get back up). Great skill to have. Unless you and a boss score that double-knockout and your revive ability triggers. Boss is dead and you're left fighting the air. Normally, there is a return to ship button in the top left corner if you want to bail on a a level early. But since the level is counted as complete, the button isn't there. So, you have task manager the game away and reload. Silver lining though, you still get the drops and experience when you come back to the game, so it's not a huge deal, just a tad upsetting. All in all, for $3, it's pretty good. You can get a lot of playtime out of it. Play it in spurts or run a marathon. And there's plenty of achievements to grab. Only thing I would add is the ability to customize the avatar itself.
It is a ilde clicker game with no clicking. The levels do not auto start so to keep farming you have to manually start the levels every couple of seconds. The Dragon Ball theme is fun. The music is nice but doesn't play though whole tracks so if you farm a level you might hear the into to a song over and over. Noty type of game but not terrible. I would recommend it if it had auto play features like many other idle games.
Spiritual successor to Great Hero's Beard, Ultra Savage adds active skills and item enhancement, making for a more hands-on experience. The art style is great as always, with some rather funny background landmarks. The game also adds cut-scenes and a tutorial that is simple but effective. Just like in Great Hero's Beard, you fight waves of enemies, pick up loot and upgrade your equipment, level up and spend stat and skill points, progress to the next map, fight tougher enemies, reach a boss, get wrecked by the boss, upgrade equipment and level up some more, wreck the boss, keep progressing until it's time to reset (more on that below). The active skills are fun and satisfying, especially that nifty Ultimate. Leveling up the skills makes a big difference so you're generally better off picking and choosing rather than spreading your skill points all over, and that's a good thing as it can be fun to experiment with different sets of skills. Again much like in Great Hero's Beard, once you reach a certain level, you're offered to reset progress through a feature called Time Travel (TT), for a nice XP and stat/skill points bonus. Unlike GHB, though, there's very little incentive to keep leveling before resetting, which is a nice change so we're not forced to extend the playthrough to be optimal. Those TT's are necessary for proper progression and to eventually beat the game, so much so that you might want to focus on leveling up to reach the next TT rather than looking to beat the next boss. Aside from a few initial bugs that were easily worked around, the only gripe I have with this game is that some UI elements could be made much more user friendly, like being able to set the # of enhancement levels you want on an item instead of being limited to 1 and max. I'll admit, though, that the removal of incentives to push further, before a reset, makes for a gameplay loop that is a bit too streamlined for my taste, though not enough to overshadow the oodles of fun you get otherwise. I wholeheartedly recommend this game if you're into RPG looters, but don't get the wrong idea like others seem to have had, this is NOT an idle game.
游戏即将下架 没买的赶紧买。
有没有大佬看得到我这条评论,这种模式做修仙不就完美了吗?我都裂开了
A decent time-waster, with a vibrant/colorful art-style inspired by older cartoons, kinda grindy but an OK game to keep in the background. Too bad it was removed from the store.
Totally not a Saiyan goes to planets and starts fights. Doesn't always win. Comes back stronger. More of a character management game but you do get some active skills to use. Just silly fun like the other games from this developer.
有BUG,死一次然后打掉第一波就不能动了
