Recommended for the easy fun, not recommended for depth. It's the perfect destressing game, especially for coming home after work. No matter how fatigued I am I can still open up this game and have fun. I think it even beats doomscrolling social media. Could use some stuff to make it more fun when your brain is fully working though. There's seriously no cavalry units? I think the units need to take damage in the initial charge when armies collide, then horses would be great (the workshop unit kinda sucks). A balance of forces meter would be really nice. Also I was seriously disappointed when the 18th century units never bayonet charged. Ranged units need melee attacks. And another thing is they barely move up once they start shooting. Even if they're outgunning the other side 2:1 or even worse they still mostly just sit back when they should be very aggressive, because it makes the battles take much longer. Some of these would be great mods but I haven't seen anything but new units in the workshop. The depth of the workshop's content is also another reason to not recommend.
