I like this game. Is it worth $30? No. Some balance issues in the campaign missions and was clearly never quite finished.. :( The rest of the game is pretty cool, minor bugs here and there. Annoying that there's DLC for this game when you don't get a ton of quality campaign by default. I'd still recommend this game to friends. It shares some of my favorite mechanics from other RTS games while bringing new ones to the table.
Shame, first mission puts you up against pretty stupid odds. Just your typical masochist RTS game with poor mission design. It's a real shame nobody can do the age of sail RTS games much justice.
A fantastic age of sail strategy game. So good I want another one.aybe 1600 to early 1700s tho. Pirates, Buccaneers, treasure fleets. England, France, spain and the Dutch trying to obtain dominion over the Caribbean and east indies. 100/10, scratches the brain just right
They need to fix Cheat Engine allowing you to get all the trophies immediately lol.
Like most other UA games, it's a full linear campaign, so Total War players coming here will not get that open world experience. Now, knowing this, I came in with an open mind, and rewarded with a pretty good game and some amazing ship models. Animations, sounds, and effects are all well done. Even if it doesn't have a sandbox experience, it is great. That being said, $30 is a LOT for this type of game. It doesn't have replayability and it only got 2 campaigns. It can get very boring. I think by that price, and for what it offers, it can do better. I just wish the devs come back and make a sandbox or post endgame option, because this really isn't that replayable without that element. The biggest problem is the terrible land battles. I appreciate it is there and you can skip them, but doing so will hurt you severely. I just wish there were more naval battles in this game over the terrible land battles.
Really fun age of sail game. Good replayability
kicks you out after a abit...
Sehr gutes Spiel, jedoch liegt meiner Meinung nach der Fokus teilweise zu sehr auf großen Schiffen.
我是傻波,破游戏玩不懂,本来还想认真玩的,不推荐
If you like the Age of Sail, there's nothing like this game. It may lack polish and mods, but you won't mind after a few hours of game play, and if you do, there's always the refund button. Do yourself a favor and experience this game. Especially on discount.
