UFO 50 is a collection of 50 single and multiplayer games that span a variety of genres, from platformers and shoot 'em ups to puzzle games, roguelites, and RPGs. Our goal is to combine a familiar 8-bit aesthetic with new ideas and modern game design.

Prices
The United States storefront in every case, so this compares stores and not countries.
Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Charts
Each storefront's own chart, in its own country — the closest public signal to sales where none is published. A country missing from a list is one we don't collect there, not one where the game doesn't chart.
No United States chart position — it charts only in the markets below.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 28 → 2/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Add-ons
Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.
Sums Steam only; Nintendo publishes no volume signal, so the true total is higher by an unknown amount.

Reviews
Came here expecting a retro homage and this is a bit different. This is a collection of modern indie game sensibilities that on one hand are based on classic gameplays, but on the other it makes them a bit weird amd awkward. Not all games will grow on you fast (I don't like deck builders or turn based strategic games in general) but it does not take much to start getting the quirks that makes them slightly easier, usually by pure chance. I have played just a few hours, but I have already beaten one game that is a bit like Zelda but not, a bit like Atic Atac but not, a bit like Metroid but not.
Worth it for Mortol alone.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 22: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

I genuinely think UFO 50 is one of the best purchases I've made on Steam. When I first saw "50 games in one collection" I assumed it'd be a case of quantity over quality. Maybe a handful of good games surrounded by a mountain of filler... I was definitely wrong. Not every game clicked with me immediately. Some took a few attempts before they finally made sense, and a couple still haven't. But that's part of the fun. With fifty completely different games, there's always something else to jump into. More than once I've gone back to a game I originally dismissed, only to end up completely hooked. There are also some genuinely surprising moments. I expected arcade games and platformers. I didn't expect puzzle games, management games, RPGs, strategy games, horror, exploration, or games that somehow made me care about tiny pixel characters after ten minutes. Don't expect every game to be easy. Some of them are absolutely ruthless, in that old school "back to the title screen, try again" kind of way. You'll probably have a few moments where you insist a game is unfair... before quietly loading it back up five minutes later. Pros ✔ 50 genuinely unique games, not reskins of each other. ✔ Almost everyone will end up with different favourites. ✔ Fantastic pixel art and soundtrack throughout. ✔ Incredible value for money. - Many games explain very little. Some people might love, others might dislike. Cons ✘ You'll constantly think, "I'll just try one more game," and suddenly it's 2am. If you enjoy discovering games rather than simply finishing them, this collection is something really special. Controls: 9/10 - Most games feel tight and responsive. A few intentionally mimic older design quirks. Soundtrack: 9/10 - Great variety of retro tracks. Each game's music matches its genre and fictional era, making every soundtrack feel distinct. Art Style: 10/10 - Beautiful pixel art. Every game has its own visual identity while still feeling like part of the same fictional developer's catalogue. Fun: 9.5/10 - The biggest strength of UFO 50 is that there's always another game to try. Not every title will click with every player, but you're almost guaranteed to find several you'll struggle to put down. Each game having it's own challenges. Complete the game for a Gold completion status. Beat the extra challenges mentioned for each game and you'll get a Cherry completion status. Some being more challenging than others. Value for Money: 10/10 - At first it may seem on the pricey side, but believe me. Even at full price you'll get your moneys worth. Overall: 10/10.

With so many awful retro game collections out there who would have thought a collection of "fake" retro games would be this good. Incredible amount fo creativity and variety. Every game you could sink a ton of time into and while not every game will be a perfect fit you are bound to find something up your alley. Just typing this makes me realize I should dive back in and dedicate some time to those I haven't explored as much.
Love this! Anytime I rage quit one game, there's always plenty more!
2 player mode is completely broken. The second player controls both players no matter how you try to configure the controllers. What a buggy mess!
Incredible game. All of the games are bangers. Highly reccomend
you probably won't like every game in this catalog, but there'll surely be at least a dozen or so that you'll enjoy. this game is honestly a steal
