I don't normally bother reviewing most games, but this is seriously one of the most inspired, exciting games I've played in the past several years. And it's a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ *visual novel.* If you like the Ace Attorney formula, this game takes that to what I personally consider its perfect form. But maybe I'm just biased because it has extremely cool supernatural elements, who knows. Every character is well thought-out, with thoughtful and funny dialogue where everyone has their own sense of humor, which helps temper some of the heavier plot elements; the plotlines are unique with fun puzzles and magical mischief; and although I can't say much about the last case without spoiling everything leading up to it, it is a fabulous culmination of character arcs and half-solved mysteries from previous cases, somehow complete with a genuine anime power-up and boss fight in, again, a *♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ VISUAL NOVEL.* Genuinely just a really good game that clearly had a lot of passion put into it. I personally encountered a few awkward visual bugs with text box loading/unloading, and with character sprites flashing or lagging slightly. For such a small team, I would already be happy to overlook these minor flaws, and they more than make up for it with the quality content from the rest of the game.

A really strong Ace Attorney-inspired indie game that consists of intricately designed cases and beautifully written characters, where (almost) every character has their shining moments. Strong recommend!

It's a pretty nice game, Music is on point, and although if you're very intuitive the plot can be kind of predictable at times, I was impressed by how the story picked up in the latter half of the game. Ending was kind of rushed, but it hit the visual novel ace attorney esque urge. Solid 8/10

I'm a sucker for Ace Attorney games, so when I saw something relating to that with the Arcane in a DnD-esque fashion, AND it had good reviews - I just had to buy it. Initially, it gives you that feeling that it isn't all that - even a bit cringe. But, that was nothing more but me being silly. It is in fact, a goated ass game. I loved the cases, the art, music, and the characters. Without a doubt, it's a fun experience, and you do get attached to some characters. I do have some small criticisms that I hope perhaps get added, or considered for a potential sequel: 1. There are a few events during the story that could really benefit from having a full background like image, rather then just the character sprites. Some events already do, and I absolutely love them, which is why I wish there was more, especially during some - personally - critical moments. 2. On one hand, I'm grateful that the game currently does not have a way to "lose" a case and forcing you to go back to an older save, I almost sort of wish it was an option at game start. During some of the critical case defining moments, I think it would be absolutely devastating to me as the player to actually just lose and see a bad ending or conclusion. 3. I loved the world building and how it tied into popular DnD or Pathfinder lore, but I also wish we were able to get a glance of how the kingdom looks on a proper world map - just to establish the feel of where what is considering how many places we end up going to. In the end, if you like Visual Novel games or Ace Attorney games, highly recommend picking this one up and giving it a try!

I never played the AA games, I saw a friend posting about this game and showed interest in it. They gifted me the game and I fell head over heels for this games story. 10/10 Celeste is best girl. Made me wanna finally play the AA games and I will be THERE when the sequel releases.
