The gameplay is mostly about exploring rooms, clicking on things, finding clues, and figuring out what they mean. I like that some clues are hidden in small details, like the flower, tarot cards, and music box, so you really have to look around instead of just clicking everything. Some puzzles are fun to figure out, but a few can be confusing when you don’t know what the game wants you to do next. I really like the art style too. The characters look beautiful, and I especially like the dark colors and slightly creepy feeling in some of the rooms. The story is my favorite part, at first I was pretty confused about what was going on, but the little clues and story pieces slowly start to connect, which made me want to keep playing and see what happened next. It’s also FREE to play, so I think it’s definitely worth checking out if you enjoy short mystery and puzzle games.
PRICE
Genel Not 8/10
Short and not so sweet game with simple yet emotional story. I was very captivated by the opening scene, I didn't even notice my cursor was on the screen. No need for long review, it's free, if you have some time to spare just play it. Only issue I have with this game is lack of outlines or something that would help distinguish clickable things. When there's a clutter of objects it's hard to know which one you've clicked. Cursor is pretty big and hitboxes are not super precise, often resulting in checking the same object twice in a row, or just not noticing something.
BGM和配音恐怖,我感到阵阵寒意,小猫咪可爱捏,线索有的放得比较密,错过会卡住,剧情有一点点老套,但是双死是HE呀()。
I kind of hate having to give this game a negative review because there are a lot of good things about it. The artwork is beautiful, the animated scenes are a nice touch, and most of the music is really good and has this haunting, melancholic sound that sets the tone for the story perfectly. The story itself is decent, perhaps a bit cliché at its core with parts that seem confusing and fragmented at times, but I got the gist of it. My favorite thing about it all was the abstract horror, but such scenes were unfortunately few and far between. However, my main gripe is that the game is hopelessly clunky and broken for what is essentially a visual novel with some moving pictures. *Yes, I know it's free. I don't think that excuses poor game design by any means, though. It crashed on me about five times before I even started a new save because I kept trying to alt-tab while on the main menu screen, which apparently the game does not like. What's worse, though, is that I made the mistake of alt-tabbing right before the final cutscene because I thought it wasn't working since it was taking so long to start. The game crashed, of course, but when I tried to reload my save file it would give me an error every single time, effectively erasing all of my saves AND my ability TO SAVE AT ALL. Whatever, it's not a huge deal for such a short game, but I actually managed to somehow break the entire save/load system without even trying. None of this would have happened if the windowed mode was any good, but it's just a tiny box that isn't adjustable, so I had to stick to fullscreen. The other settings aren't any better, and there's only three of them. Don't even bother trying to adjust the audio levels in game, it won't work and will just continue to play the music at full blast and blow out your eardrums. Volume mixer is your friend here. Anyway, that's really about it. The translation wasn't particularly great either, it definitely had its fair share of 'Engrish', but I've played enough of these types of games to not really care at this point. Partial voice acting was fine, I guess, but too quiet compared to the music and kind of flat. I'm not particularly good at puzzles at the best of times but a lot of these ones were pretty random and nonsensical, wherein you just need to click around at vague furnishings and acquire items in a specific order that probably only the developer can truly understand. Even my boyfriend who IS good at puzzles couldn't see the reasoning behind them. Final thoughts: pick up PRICE if you want the free, easy achievements, but don't expect some deeply profound experience... or a functional one.
I was honestly really obsessed with this game. The art style and atmosphere are incredible, it feels like a dream you don’t want to wake up from. The story had me really invested the whole time and I just wanted to keep going to see what happens next. And the music… I was actually OBSESSED with it. It fits everything so perfectly and stayed in my head even after I stopped playing. Some parts of the gameplay were a bit unclear and more trial-and-error than I usually like, but I didn’t even care that much because the vibe was just THAT good. I could honestly see this being turned into a really good anime if it kept this art style — I would 100% be there for it. Also still surprised this game is free, I genuinely wouldn’t have minded paying for it. It feels way too good for that. I just wish it would’ve been longer.
