Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 1.57/day in the week to Aug 14 → 1.14/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 22 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,513 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Reviews
An amazing tight RPG with a unique story, narrative and concise, but poignant writing. I really appreciate that there is no fat and no part is felt like a pointless filler to grind XP, etc. It also comes with one of the best spell systems to date, making a mage a very enjoyable class to play. Highly reccomended for any CRPG fan.
People tend to overhype the le evil aspects of the game; Like the Empire is just the Persian Empire with some aspects of quiet authoritarian but with how people act you would assume the Empire is committing a ♥♥♥♥ ton of genocides, instead of you know what normal empires throughout history do. I liked the game tho

This game is amazing if you *enjoy* games like *this*. It's a great story, dynamic game mechanics, and a lot of fun to play! I haven't checked out the DLC and plan on reading reviews before investing. Worth the 50hrs of fun and definitely replayable!
Absolutely phenomenal. I ended up finishing both the latter half of Act 2 and the entirety 3 in one day, which shows how this game, despite how beyond FANTASTIC the writing is, feels unfortunately rushed. It felt like the story was only just beginning, and I can't even be mad at it. The experience was so good. I've never laughed, cried, outright cackled, and panic-loaded a quicksave after disappointing my companions as much as I have in Tyranny. I'm so excited to replay on NG+ and see what all the different routes have to offer. I wish Obsidian would have marketed this better, because its niche setting has so much potential for more like this. Things I of course didn't like: - especially towards the end, several things felt railroaded. When you're deep into a "route", you get less and less opportunities to detract from it, even if you or your character personally disagree with the path it's taken. It would have been a dealbreaker (as in, I would have put the game down forever) for me if the character writing wasn't as good as it was. - Several bugs!!! I had to abandon 4hrs of playing through the Bastard's Wound DLC because I looked at the murals when I wasn't "supposed" to. -.- It's unbelievable that the bug is still not fixed. - Act 3 and the ending are horribly rushed. I genuinely wish the IP would be picked up one day. It's too interesting!
