I got Tyler free as part of a promotional deal, so I decided to fire it up. Tyler opened an external command window and then my computer violently shut down to prevent hardware failure. I am running with recommended hardware. Gift this to someone you hate. Get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ Tyler. Love,
Got it becuase my names Tyler
Feels like an ios game. Game has a nice mechanic too it but in my opinion it just fails at it. Can play coop along with using a controller in which you can avoid the pain on using a keyboard
Fantastic Gameplay, Incredible Story, Eye-Popping Visuals, Amazing Royalty-Free Soundtrack, Fantastic Characters, and Tremendous Replayability. A true joy to play. GOTY 1 A.D. - 2016 A.D.
Tyler is a somewhat broken low poly 3D rendered 2D top down shooter/brawler with some placement/pathing puzzle gameplay thrown in. It's not the best concept even with a solid delivery, and the delivery here is garbage. It's apparent that little to no testing for the game was done, at least on modern gaming PCs. In fullscreen, the game doesn't display properly, with the game area drawn outside the viewable space. This is caused by the developer not bothering to ensure the game works on resolutions over 1080p, with very high resolution monitors that use resolution scaling. Because the game area is not drawn correctly, it doesn't map to the mouse pointer properly, so the game itself simply cannot be played. Gamers shouldn't be forced to accept defective products just because developers don't bother with basic testing on PC. The game features low-polygon "retro" assets with cartoony, mobile app style shader effects, making this look like a barely functional mobile app from 15 years ago. This visual style is a method that lazy devs often use when they have a lack of interest/capabilty to create highly detailed, high poly models and instead use shader effects to disguise that shortcoming under the name of "art", or "We made it look bad on purpose", which really isn't something gamers should have to put up with. It's unclear why the developers weren't willing to arrange high quality, high polygon count contemporary assets and high resolution textures for the game. It's far below the state of the art visuals gamers expect as a result of their decisions. These technical defects push this game below acceptable standards for any modern PC game. You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. Tyler has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for starting the game, trivial to achieve, but less than 4 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, and isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 4 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who didn't bother engaging with this game? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game. That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with little merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. Tyler is relatively cheap at $3 USD, but it's not worth it. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. This is also competing with over 9,000 free games available on Steam, many of them far better than this paid product. Developers must take responsibility for their software and perform adequate software testing.
Análise.
Ancient game from 2016 but quite easily worth the 3€ if you want some intensive action combined with some thinking. The kind that requires ability to visually figure out how the pattern of the level is supposed to look in order to solve the level. Game play loop of any level is that first you try to take down obstacles with items that fit only specific type of obstacle. Then you try to find switches - if any - and raise the floor. Once you have finally managed to level the 'level' then you need to connect 2 circles so that all circles and spaces in the map are used. And finally run up the stairs that are formed for the key. Blow up bombs with a melee weapon. Bombs try to mess your progress and avoid the cannon taking pot shots at you resulting in deaths that slow you down and bring negative score at the end. Rinse and repeat. Actually quite fun once you get the hang of it. Basically first levels are by far the nastiest as there is more confusion than usual to what is actually supposed to happen so the game starts to shine only after the initial levels are over and more tools become available.
i've got a bugged one
