Próbáltam valami frappánsat kitalálni, de nem ment. A lényeg hogy offos a téma.
I don't really know, how to rate this game. Two Worlds 2 was actually, underneath the technical issues, quite a good game. So i assume as actual content this here is as well. From what i've read, it's a decent game. So i give it the benefit of the doubt until i know more. But new players be aware of the no-tutorial issue below. MAybe buy TW2 for a few cent in a sale before. This was very obviously in the drawer for TW2 as Addon (=todays DLC, just bigger) Now they made it standalone and released it, years later. Sadly the game was not adjusted to that change. And despite the HD label, it was NOT adjusted in any way to the higher resolutions of today. Which leads to 2 problems: 1. They have not added a new tutorial. They kinda assume you know how to play it from Two Worlds 2. As you would have, had this been an actual Two Worlds 2 DLC at the time. It's straight at the deep end with a fully fledged character. Combat, inventory, skill system are pretty obvious standard. Magic and soem items use is a bit tricky though. 2. They have not adjusted the interface. It's either way too big or parts of it way too small. There are options for 2 sizes. First size ("resizable interface" ON) makes everything H U G E! Text, UI elements block huge parts of the screen. And feel extremely clunky. Second size (off) makes it mostly much more managable. But on resolutions above Full HD (and even there) parts become absolutely T I N Y! The small HP bubble is barely visible. It's also half transparent... Which is a serious issue in combat. "Best" workaround is the same as in TW2: UI set to "resizable" (i.e. HUGE) but options "small icons" in interface options and "UI use safe zone" in gameplay options. It's still huge but uses wide screens better. There was a interface mod for TW2, haven't found it yet. It was bad back then, they could have spent 10 minutes to fix it! Also to recommend the options for the ingame console (enter) "cam.bank.move 0" and "cam.bank.rotate 0" without the ". To disable the absolutely horrible camera shaking and bobbing (in a 3rd person game!). Have to do it everytime but can use up-arrow key in the console to get last used commandos, even after restart. Performance is obviously very good on todays PC's, graphics are still decent, controls (apart from the tutorial issue) are ok. It has flawless (except interface) out-of-the-box 21:9 widescreen support. Haven't had (yet) any major bugs. PS: As for the microtransactions issue: They are nothing more than a joke for these old games. They are completely irrelevant, Therefore i absolutely don't care. And the console still works.
Raději investujte do kompletní hry.
Wykonałem kilka saveów, quick, manual i auto. Stanowczo odradzam! A seria była bardzo spoko.
Awesome expansion, but very flawed. + Storyline is great. + Tons of content, dozens and dozens of quests and areas to explore. Took me 50 hours to complete everything. + Even more detailed level design than in the first expansion which had more detailed level design than base game's already. Most of the stuff have better textures too. + A whole new soundtrack which is very beautiful and epic. + Much less glitchy and more stable than DLC version of this expansion. - Half of the cutscenes do not have any sound. - Very glitchy. Two side quests were glitched and I had to use cheat codes to complete them. In one quest the item wouldn't spawn, in another the dead body which had a quest item did not spawn. Glad you can bypass these issues with the right cheat codes. - It's very long, but it's quantity over quality kind of thing. Some of the areas are clearly stretched out. There are some areas and dungeons which are huge and very samey looking the whole way, they are very repetitive and it feels. - With this expansion Microtransactions were added to the game. Game's very easy so there's no way you'd ever need to buy any. They also removed some cheat codes which were for material item spawns, because of material item microtransactions. 8/10
Da się w to grać i czuć ducha oryginalnego Two Worlds II. Grafika trochę podrasowana ale optymalizacja taka sobie. Nie rozumiem dlaczego nie dodano polskiego języka w grze robionej w Polsce, gdzie oryginał go miał, no ale trudno.
"Two Worlds II HD - Call of the Tenebrae" is, well, at first look, a viable third person brawler. Well, looks can be decieving, or in this case, outright lies. This is a DLC for Two Worlds II that the developer, in a case of sheer, unmitigated, hostile greed, dumped onto Steam for the ridiculous, delusional price of $20 USD. Sure, yeah, they routinely discount this heavily so they can sell it to card farmers (more on this later), but as always, games must be judged by their retail price... otherwise, we admit the pricing is deceptive (because if it's only worth $1, why sell it for 20 times the price? That would be unethical!) Now, as a game, it does feature customisable controls and resolution, so at least some of the basic, minimum requirements have been met. It does work and it can be played.. but of course there's little value because this is just a content-sparse DLC and not a full game, even if it's being sold as one. Remember what I said about developers deliberately misleading gamers? I mean, yes, they admit it's just a DLC, but that doesn't make it okay for them to sell this as a full game. In fact, it makes it worse, it's an admission of guilt! It's also bloated with MTX... yeah, so this is a DLC that isn't complete as a DLC and requires you to buy more stuff to unlock the full content of the DLC. But it's being sold as a complete game. Sorry if this seems repetitive, but WTF??? This is not a full game! They want $20 for it! You don't have to take my word about how bad the game is, we can measure the interest in a game by how much people bothered to play it. "Two Worlds II HD - Call of the Tenebrae" has achievements, and they show us a very clear picture that the game absolutely failed to capture any interest from gamers. The most commonly and easily attained achievement is for hitting something with a hammer, trivial to achieve, but less than 2 percent of players bothered to get that far before uninstalling the game. That's a tiny, tiny proportion of gamers who even bothered with this. Ouch. Reviewing SteamDB to check how popular this game was with players reveals a surprise... there's a very healthy spike in player counts for the game. But this only happened once, and isn't consistent with the achievement stats, that show less than 2 percent of players bothered playing the game for any reasonable amount of time. How is it possible for this game to have so many concurrent players who didn't bother engaging with this game? Trading cards. People will use card idling software to collect the cards and sell them, but this won't trigger any achievements in-game. That tells us people only really bought this game for trading cards during the frequent heavy discounts, and that's a damning indictment of the woeful quality. A closer look at the numbers shows the game just has a couple of players every week running up the game and idling it for cards, then deleting it. We must ask how it benefits gamers for there to be so many games like this, with little merit as a serious game, that only generate sales from people idling and selling the trading cards. So, should you buy this game? Is this one of the best of the 100,000+ games on Steam? "Two Worlds II HD - Call of the Tenebrae" has the laughable price of $20 USD, for which you could easily get any number of older AAA games. Given the defects and quality issues with the game, coupled with the unrealistic price, this is impossible to recommend. For comparison, the $20 asking price for this game could get you games like "Mirror's Edge", "Kingdom Come Deliverance" or "The Vanishing of Ethan Carter". Quality, professionally made games like those are frequently on sale cheaper than this. Taking all this into account, at this point I can make no assumption other than Topware are acting unethically towards gamers and abusing Steam for profit. This kind of thing is not okay. You, the gamers, deserve better.
