A short and fairly easy escape game with a pirate/nautical theme. Puzzles will be familiar to those who play this genre and clues are straight forward. Dialog is limited to a single pirate who is available to answer questions and spur you on throughout your adventure. The environment consists of a handful of rooms with 2 or 3 puzzles in each. The first time through took me just under 2 hours - I think this included some afk time and listening to all dialog (no option to click through and speed read). I encountered some minor interface challenges (prompt to explain how to open a lock did not initially appear and on occasion, the interact and pick up prompts 'stacked' on top of each other). There is a decode exercise that made me crazy because there did not seem to be a working 'reset' and I made a mess of it the first time through. Sigh... The game auto-saves as you complete puzzles and also includes an explicit save option with multiple slots. Thus, there is no chance of losing progress. There are unused doors and notes that are 'clue-like' but do not apply. Not sure if these are red herrings or if there are plans to expand the game later. Being the note-taker that I am, I wrote down quite a bit of unnecessary information! All in all, a nice way to chill for an hour or more ... no pressure unless you are going for the 'finish in under an hour' achievement (which I got on a second speed run). Sometimes it feels great to complete a game in one sitting instead of playing titles that take weeks! If you enjoy escape puzzlers and are okay with the brevity of this experience, then I'd recommend setting sail!

Every puzzle is a unique challenge with its own flair. While escaping the rooms and solving the puzzles you also progress an overall story and solve a mystery on the ship. Some good bits of comedy in the dialogue as well. Definitely cracked a couple laughs after meeting Alfred.
This is a low budget cheap first person indie escape room with poor optimization. This game caused my pc fans to race with high gpu temps above 80 degrees Celsius, even when lowering the only graphic setting to medium. There are also flickering shadows, voices are computer generated, and you can often get stuck trying to move through doorways. I also experienced a bug with the highly annoying measuring puzzle where a certain area on a barrel stopped highlighting until I restarted the game. The music setting is also bugged because it starts the music back up when you load a saved game, even with the music set to zero. Overall, I found this to be a pretty cheap experience and I therefore cannot recommend it.
Ouch, you shot me! Help! Ahh, just kidding. Pro tip, you can close the book on your nose. Also, those cups will haunt me for the rest of my days. Super relaxing, but deceptively difficult sometimes. Alfred didn't judge me for taking a hint once, and the music was awesome. Took me like 2.5hrs the first time around, but I was slightly slowed down by eating dinner. Then did a 30 min flat speed run for that last achievement! The next game needs to be in a haunted mansion for sure
I really enjoyed the puzzles! Imo they were the right amount of challenging enough and fun to solve, with the exception of one that I guess I just didn't have the brainpower for (the cups if you're wondering after playing), and I had to use a hint on that one. Besides that they were all super enjoyable, and I really liked talking to both of the characters, especially Alfred and his funny little cinematics! Definitely worth it if you want a couple hours of fun puzzles and some interesting dialogue with a nautical vibe.
Nice linear puzzle game. Good puzzles with some types I'd never seen before. Astronomy one was my favorite. Fun to explore. Fire the cannons! Cheers Gus
I had to use a small hint on almost every puzzle but didn't have to use any big hints. Was still fun playing through even with hints!
This was fun and I enjoyed the nautical theme, but I’m a newbie to puzzle games so it took me more than 4 1/2 hours to get to the end! The reason it was so challenging is because I wasn’t familiar with most of the puzzle types. I could practically feel my brain growing new neurons on the cups problem. The last 25% of the game went faster because the puzzles got easier for me. If there are other newbies out there, here are my suggestions: 1. Keep a pencil and paper handy to help with some of the puzzles. 2. Try to make a mental map of where all the rooms are located as you play because you will frequently need to go back to previous rooms. 3. Be aware that you won’t be able to interact with some “interact” items until you complete certain tasks later. 4. If you get stuck, first try clicking on the guide character for hints. Later, he may give you even more hints about the puzzle after you interact with something else. However, if he runs out of hints, he won’t display any conversation options when you click on him. That means you should probably: a) try a new door, b) go into a previous room and look for different things to interact with, c) on certain puzzles, make sure you hit “Enter” after entering your answer, or d) use the storyline to figure out what it makes sense to do next. The story has a fun ending for those tough enough to make it through. Good luck ye landlubbers!
Nice challenging puzzle game! Reminded me that I need to do escape rooms more often! 9.5/10 Would definitely recommend to people who are interested in challenging their brains on a quick mystery.
Not bad. Puzzles were a mixed bag, some easy, some more tricky. Would like to see more like this. It's a very good looking game, obviously a lot of effort went into it and it shows.
